EVERYTHING: the gorgeous surroundings, the spacious and comfortable apartment, the fantastic owners (helpful beyond expectation) and staff, their ability to communicate in perfect English (because our Italian is terrible), the delicious breakfast in the garden, the wonderful local suggestions, the flowers everywhere, the QUIET at night, the adorable neighbors gardening in their yard, the location close enough to walk to everything but just far enough from everything to feel like a vacation... what's not to love?

Duccio was so nice, his recommendations made all the difference in our stay. The apartment and view were beautiful… honestly the best stay in my whole trip around Italy.

Porta Castellana was in a perfect location! It is beautiful and has great views. Our host, Annalisa was so welcoming and helpful. She met us in town because we got a little lost and guided us to her property. She also gave wonderful recommendations of places to eat and visit. The continental breakfast which was included was presented so charmingly and was delicious. We will definitely come back and stay here on our next trip to Montalcino!
