The staff was ok but not overly helpful. The 2nd room was cute but space was very small.

There was a convenient reception desk and staff on hand throughout the day. Checking in and out was very simple. The location is good, just a short distance from the metro and walkable to some attractions, such as the Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya and Montjuic. The neighbourhood is nice, clean, and well-maintained. The apartments themselves are relatively spacious, modern and well-equipped. The price is good, relative to more traditional hotels, and provides an alternative to vacation rentals, which are difficult to get in Barcelona right now.

There is limited service once you are checked in - you can only get new towels once every 3-4 days and while there is a reception desk, they don't really provide much by way of services. The soundproofing between units is not great - we received a noise complaint from the neighbouring unit because we were using a hair dryer at night. There is a good deal of traffic noise if your room fronts onto the Grand Via, so you may wish to consider asking for a room that faces a different direction - that said, on an upper floor, it was not so bad that it kept us awake at night. The lift is a bit old fashioned and rickety, not to mention very small and quite noisy.

There was only one bathroom, we booked a 2 bedroom and it wasnt quite 2 bedrooms because only one had a door, the other only a partition. There was a sofa bed in the living room which was fine but we were 6 ppl so one bathroom was not enough especially for the price we paid. The towels were not clean, there was dust on the towel hanger and the towels were old one was even torn. There was no housekeeping service, we had to take out our own trash. The elevator was old, slow and small we had to go up in turns. We expected much better service for such high ratings and expensive price.
