Fabulous, unique B&B, stunning location, amazing host

Beautiful, old building with loads of character. Amazing views over the forests and mountains. 5 minutes' walk from a lovely village with two restaurants and a shop. Excellent public transport links. Very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable host. Fantastic breakfast. Great value. In a stunning, unique, wild valley. I look forward to returning!

This place is magic … it’s perfect for calming down, you can find so many little corners where you can sit and read or just watch the mountains.. it’s perfect spot to go for excursions to rivers, walking trails. the lovely owner welcomes you with a coffee and prepares a wonderful breakfast. it’s a individual heart place.

Calm and relaxed place surrounded by wonderful nature!

I decided to book a room in Ticino to leave all the stress behind and concentrate on my PhD thesis. I spent four nights at da Toldo to write and have a relaxed time around nature. It was super productive, and I found the focus I needed. I highly recommend it.

A unique stay, ideal to blend with the nature and spirit of this tucked away valley!

It is a special place, considering the facility itself and the location. But if you're looking for a quiet, cozy and one-of-a-kind place to stay, this is definitely a good choice. Tucked away in a valley, close to a few remote tiny villages. We've totally liked the welcoming attitude of the owners and their good care for a tasty breakfast! Also, received some good tips for exploration of the area and dining out.

Charming getaway from civilization

This place was the best thing that could have happen to us, while travelling in times of pandemic. Located in magical place, surrounded by nothing but nature, one could simply sit and stare whole day long. But its true treasure is absolutely lovely hosts who made us felt like home. This place is addictive, we'll keep coming back!

Ein zauberhafter Ort

Man sollte hier nicht das Alltägliche erwarten: Steil über der Straße gelegen, fand ich hier eine Oase der Entspannung. Garten und Zimmer sind mit vielen Details liebevoll gestaltet, die Gastgeber sind sehr herzlich. Das Frühstück ist sensationell gut, und wird wunderschön serviert. Etwas ungewöhnlich das Gemeinschaftsbad hinter der Küche, aber durch die familiäre Stimmung kein Problem. Eigene Parkplätze an der Straße, es geht dann nur ein paar Stufen hinauf. 5 Minuten zu Fuß ins Dorf Russo mit zwei sehr guten Möglichkeiten zum Abendessen.
