Friendly staff. Cozy lodge environment - lobby area was like a family room with free foot massagers, herbal tea and origami supplies. Location super convenient. Breakfast tasty and onsen facilities terrific.
No outdoor/ rooftop space to enjoy cooler evenings.

Staff spoke very good English and were attentive to what we needed, especially for the kids. It was a very luxurious stay.

Terrific location near the train station and walkable to interesting parts of town.
Overly priced hotel trying to be an authentic ryokan. Staff felt overbearing and seemed to hover over guests. The most expensive and touristy place I stayed in my two week vacation.
