The Fleming Hong Kong

We had the "large" room and there was plenty of space for us as we had lots of luggage. Our bathroom was beautifully appointed and very clean. Bed was comfortable and linen crisp and clean. Easy access for taxis to come to the hotel. Very short walk to the local tram. We loved visiting the local wet markets and seeing the locals shopping, and this was an easy 3 block walk from The Flemming Hotel. Although we found the onsite restaurant a little on the expensive side for breakfast, the Italian dinner menu was amazing. Lobster pasta is a must try. The maitre'd at Osteria was just so lovely and accommodating and he also helped us with some locations for shopping. He was very knowledgeable on the menu. We were lucky enough to meet the Italian head Chef from Rome, and we had just come from Rome, so it was lovely to chat with him. We were exhausted after a long overnight, long haul flight and our room was comfortable and nice and quiet.

Room had a very slight musty odor to it, but nothing too terrible. It had been raining for a few days prior to our arrival. The breakfast menu and beverages were probably on the high side.

the location , design and aesthetics of the hotel were brilliant

It was lacking a swimming pool or at least a spa and the music at the bar was too loud

Room a bit small for two. We liked staying in Central/ Sheung Wan better than in Wanchai

Location was great

Some road noise could be heard in the room at night, included breakfast was average and limited, staff were rather unfriendly
