Not up to standard and run down

The concept of the hotel is amazing, its just all run down and dated, not much love or care sadly. Private pool would be amazing, but is empty and broken.

No hand towels provided, when asked, staff said no and to help myself to dirty pool towels. Many items broken in the room. Dirty lamp shades and cobwebs and not clean. Duvet was stained. Shower outside is broken. Stained toilet and damp walls. Termites and insects all in the ourside roof. Main shower doesnt fit the bracket. No special touches that youre used to in Bali eg flowers/towels art you expect from such an expensive stay.

My chosen place to go to, often twice a year. Blessedly out of the main party scene, quiet... but for evenings when cafes busy and beach packed, especially weekends.. Great beachside cafes a few minutes away, great for watching the surf. Great upstairs room... down stairs don't get so much light.

No fridge in rooms. Used to be fridge in common area for guests use but now need use the small fridge in the reception area which is closed 8pm to 7.30am.

Location for beach and surfing is superb.

Location was very convenient and super easy and short to walk to the beach. Our big room was super big. Very spacious bathroom. Aircon worked very well. Better to get a scooter to get to other parts of Canggu. Or a Gojek or Grab scooter ride was easy enough too. Staff was very friendly. Very easy check in/out. Cool coffee shop around the corner.

Has a lot of space. It's right in front of the beach so you get that sea smell everywhere

My sheets had a hole in it, toilet was dripping the entire time and the room door (wich is a window) would not close properly. I don't really think it's a cleaning problem on most of the things as much as a lack of maintenance . No mini fridge and no safe to leave your stuff

Perfect location, quiet yet close to everything.

Well priced I an ideal quiet location on the beach, 100m from beachside restaurants. Bottled water replaced daily and pretty flowers as a nice touch. Canggu is crazy so this was a haven.

My Balinese Heaven

Always my favorite spot in Canggu.

There could be some problems with septic, but Balinese sewage system cannot sustain that many tourists.

It's worth it for the location

Once your driver has found the place, which isn't easy, the location is great. Away from the busy side of Canggu but close enough to get everywhere on foot or by scooter. Spacious rooms (King-size bed). The pool is nice, too.

Deceitful photos on Booking.com

Location was a short walk from Perenen Beach

So run down. Like a ghost town. Photos online are very deceptive and have been photoshopped! There is no beach view! Big metal bridge in place of where the beach view should be. This may have been a nice hotel 20+ years ago (perhaps when the photos were taken?). Pool was dirty. We stayed in a villa and it was old and musky and dark. We checked out first thing the next day. Staff were nice but really have no clue what's going on. Seems the owner has not provided them with any training or understanding of what to do at the hotel.

Beautiful place. The manager was extremely helpful as we had to change our dates when travel plans were altered by bad weather. He was very accommodating, I can’t recommend enough.

I would suggest to install sound system in the lounge area/pool side so if guest will be resting it will be more cozy. Cleaner swimming pool, and pls change the bedroom pillows, the cushion is yellowish and dirty. It was indicated that spa is available and when I want to book appointment, the staff told me there is no spa facility and if i wish to have a spa, they will arrange it from outside spa facility.
