First and foremost, excellent value for money. Breakfasts, lunches, and dinners (all-inclusive) were enjoyable, even though the menu is somewhat repetitive. However, there is a good variety at the buffet, so everyone should find something they like, including children—pizza and fries are usually available daily. Drinks in the all-inclusive option are self-served from a tap. Strong alcoholic drinks are not included but are available for an extra charge; local beer as well as white and rosé wine are included.
The rooms are quite spacious, have a small fridge, and are cleaned regularly. Each room has a fairly large TV, which makes it nice to watch from the bed (currently, Polish TV channels are only music channels). The pools are clean, and finding a spot isn’t a problem, at least in October (sunbeds and umbrellas are included). The beach is just across the street, about a 4-minute walk from the hotel. During the high season, parking right in front of the building might be difficult (reservations are likely not possible).
The staff at the reception and restaurant are very friendly. The location is great for those who want to explore the island—distances are reasonable both to Kissamos (ferries/boats to the lagoon) and in the other direction, to Heraklion or the mountains (observatory at 1,700 m above sea level).
There is no exercise room available - a small gym with just 2–3 multifunction machines and a treadmill would be sufficient. Ideally, there would also be an option to reserve a parking spot. Beach and pool towels are available for rent, but with a non-refundable fee (likely to cover laundry costs).

We liked everything about the hotel,value for money, delicious and varied food and an ice cream during the day,a clean and large pool, well-maintained territory of the hotel,excellent waiter service. A huge thank you to the waiter, he's always smiling and very polite.
The alcoholic drinks include locally produced white and red wine, as well as beer. If you'd like something else, it's an additional charge or you can buy it in the supermarkets.
