You can’t go wrong with this place. From the room, staff to the food, everything was superb

Oh, we absolutely loved everything about it. But if we had to point out, it would be the cleanliness, the smell of the conditioner, the hardwood floor and the sauna! We went there late and it was still open. No hotels had ever been open til late in the night as this property.

It was such an experience to spend the night at the High Alpine Road. The dinner was decent, staff was helpful. We could hit the road early to avoid crowds.

Room with beautiful mountain view. Very surprisingly clean for a mountain property. Available draft beer at affordable price.

It is still about 20 minutes to drive to the glacier. The check-in time is a narrow window. I made it in time but you will be left on the street if you arrive late after 6 PM. Dinner time also has a short window.

Nice historical hotel on the Grossglockner High Alpine Road.

Beautiful area, kind staff, clean rooms as expected. :) Ideal location, if you would like to discover the region of the Grossglockner. Unlimited free coffee, tea, syrups in the restaurant. Panorama sauna. And last, but not least discounted entry ticket to the Grossglockner Hohalpenstrasse.

The elevator was officially out of order, but surprisingly some were still able to use it ... Not a big issue, but it would have been easier to carry our suitcases upstairs with it.

Very Unique Hotel with a Panoramic view of the Austrian Alps!

This is an amazing location along the spectacular Grossglockner Alpine scenic highway. It makes you feel on top of the world surrounded by alpine peaks. The hotel was one of the most unique experiences we have ever had. We got the half board rate with breakfast and dinner included and the food was excellent. Gourmet coffee, tea and water with flavored syrups were included and available 24/7. Then there was assorted beer and wine, snacks, sumptuous deserts and some of the best ice cream ever that you could get 24/7 by using a automated self serve kiosk. Each room was given a card to scan to purchase items and it was charged at checkout. It was a system built on honesty. They have a outstanding wellness area including 2 saunas, a relaxation room and a jacuzzi. There was also an activity room with ping pong, foosball and darts. The rooms were simple but very clean and comfortable with most having mountain views. The staff was very helpful in our inability to speak the local language. We had toured for 12 days and this hotel was the highlight for our group of 5.

Very nice hotel in the middle of the alpine road

Very good hotel in an excellent location, right in the middle of the mountain. What I especially liked, was the huge and comfortable common places.

There was only one silly thing. There is an automated bar, which serves spirits and vine and it charges to your room. All the machines seems to be programmed to underserve with 20-50% aka instead of 2 dl wine you get 1.7... I mean with the markup this is soooo cheap.

Great location, with very nice and delicious food. Great to warm up in the sauna after an all day long hike in the changing weather. Interesting self serving system with drinks. Make sure to come for more than one night to enjoy the hikes nearby.

Excellent views at the top of the world!

The fact this hotel is located on the top of the mountains is amazing. The rooms all had excellent views of the +3.000m mountains. Moreover, I was impressed that there was breakfast AND dinner included in the price. The food was served with high quality and a great selection from everything and any dietary restrictions.

There was nothing really worth mentioning that we did not like on this trip. The only downside is if you travel with an electric car (so did we), that we had no opportunities to charge our car at the hotel itself. That would have been the only thing.

a very pleasant 1 night stay

The hotel is situated high up on the Grossglockner pass, it’s was an excellent stay, we enjoyed the views, evening meal, breakfast and the sauna and whirlpool. we would definitely recommend this hotel, the staff were all super friendly and very helpful. it was a shame it was foggy, but the weather changes very quickly at this altitude.

An amazing place!

Incredibly beautiful and enchanting! The views of the snow-covered mountains 😍 all around are breathtaking, and the atmosphere is mesmerizing. The restaurant serves delicious food, and the staff is friendly and pleasant! It's not our first time visiting here, and we will be happy to come back here again and again!

A perfect stay which we have to reapeat

Location was perfect and very picturesque, directly at the Grossglockner street, street was fully covered with snow, beautiful surrounding. Breakfast was excellent, different breads, cold cuts, cheeses, spreads, vegetables, eggs prepared to your liking, jams, cereals, tea, coffee, soft drinks ... all was there. Dinners were not to beat, all perfect and all tasted excellent. Saune/spa area was very nice with 2 saunas, 1 physiotherm infrared cabin, 1 jacuzzi

The hotel is close to the panoramic road, so the rooms have a wonderful view of the mountains. The staff is very helpful. Very nice atmosphere in the hotel. The food is delicious and the dinner was amazing.
