Beautiful stay in Annecy

Easy access to the railway station and able to walk to the Old Town area and lake. Clean facilities. We were met at the property by the host, who was amazingly strong and carried our heavy bags upstairs. The accomodation was very clean and attractive, and there was a separate bedroom and living room. Great facilities for self catering.

Ok, but wouldn't go back.

The space, the parking, reasonably close to the centre (20 minute walk) and a bath was nice.

Oven didn't work which, tho' not the end of the world for us, was a disappointment (warming up pizza on the hob etc) as we'd booked an apartment rather than a hotel because it was for two nights. I did txt about it and was told the person responsible would be told (and I assumed sort it out or give us a rebate) but never heard a word back - so I suppose I'd have to say it wasn't particularly good value.

Ideal for a short stay in Annecy

Private off street parking for our motorbikes. Pleasant comfortable room. We hadn't advised our arrival time but the manager came out quickly to enable early access. Useful laundry at the residence. Annecy is a nice place and well worth a visit.

could be better with a little effort

What I appreciated was that I managed to find accommodation during the very challenging period of the Annecy Animation Festival — and it was relatively within my budget. The bedroom was fine: recently refreshed, clean, and with fresh bedding. The bathroom was a bit squeezed in, but still functional and overall okay.

What I didn’t like was the living room — clearly very tired, with old and cheap furniture. I was paying around €140 per night, and after just a few nights of bookings at that price, the owner could definitely afford to replace the worn-out cabinets and sagging sofa. As for the location, it was fairly central and not far from the train station. However, one side faced a massive roundabout and the other a large construction site — so overall, not exactly a glamorous setting. For that reason, I wouldn't say it was great value for money. That said, I understand that during festival time, everyone’s trying to remplir les caisses to the max.

It’s ok as price

1. The owner was friendly. 2. The kitchen and dining space were spacious. 3. The heater worked promptly. 4. The small bath amenities were helpful.

1. The light in the toilet was flashing annoyingly. 2. The location was a bit far than I expected as other reviews said “good location”. 3. The bed linens were smelly. (I don’t know which fabric was the cause) 4. The owner contacted me via WhatsApp and asked me what time we arrive although I had told the owner it was hard to predict. In the end she gave me call for instruction. 5. There was no elevator to the room on the second level.

Basic self catering accommodation - could be better.

Fairly easy to find, parking on site, basic equipment for a a self catering stay, good supply of coffee capsules. Alexandra from the office was very helpful getting us into the apartment and then explaining the location of the washing machine. Price for Annecy was reasonable (although had to be paid in advance and non refundable)

The walk into town is a bit far if you do it more than once, and decidedly uninteresting. The apartment was very bland. No curtains, so you have to close the shutters or have sun blazing in and the only decorations were small pictures of English telephone and post box and grenadier guard??? Dish washing liquid was not sufficient for 4 evenings/mornings and no other cleaning material available. The broom was completely ineffectual. The main problem is that the building backs onto a large demolition/building site, so there will be noise during the week for some time to come

it was extremely smelling - apparently caused by previous visitors but it was a very rotten unpleasant smell and even the girl who let us in commented on it. it was a very dirty dingy accommodation- worst I’ve ever stayed in

it was good value for money, comfortable. there was a coffee maker to make your day start well, but without coffee filters.

there could be more kitchenware. we had only two cups for a group of four. it should be well equipped for as many people as many can sleep there.

The apartment has a nice size for 3 or 4 persons, it was clean and it was relatively cheap compared to other possibilities. There is a guaranteed free parking place next to the building,

the apartment was clean and tidy and everything functioned. the bathroom was clean. Free parking was good. Rim let us in to the apartment early so we could get to Annecy quicker.

The apartment was a good 20 minute walk to town, and you had to go through or around the train station, which was a bit grungy at night.

I requested check out time of 11.00 via booking app, received a formal confirmation that it would be ok. Turns out the guy managing on site wanted us out at 10.00 latest regardless. That was an unpleasant episode.

The location and number of beds, since we are siblings not couple with kids was important to have a bed for each of us. The TV is very small, probably your laptop is bigger.

The hot water didn't work at night. Was impossible to have a hot shower after day of walk. There wasn't enough house supplies for three people. Not enough toilet paper, nor paper towels, we had to buy more.

Parfait pour moi et mes enfants pendant une nuit. Je serais bien restée plus longtemps.

Organisation de l'accueil et l'accueil lui même très efficace. Pouvoir garer la voiture facilement. Propreté des lieux. Le café pour la machine était bon. Les fenêtre fermées, on est au calme dans une impasse. Le logement est bien isolé du bruit des autres locations.

Il manque de petites luminaires/appliques/tables de chevet dans la chambre avec 2 lits simples. Dans le salon, ce serait bien d'avoir une lampe sur pied ou une autre lampe à poser. Ce serait bien aussi de mettre sur le canapé convertible une couverture épaisse.

Une nuit couple + enfant bas âge

Propreté, accessibilité, douche chaude et bonne pression, lit bébé, les équipements de base pour la cuisine sont là, serviettes et linge de lit fournis.

Lit qui grince énormément, murs très fins, globalement chaque bruit s'entend. Tout est très premier prix et ça se sent. Télé + Android TV qui semble compatible chrome cast, mais impossible à faire fonctionner (box à configurer a priori) ce dernier point n'est pas grave c'est juste pénible ^^
