Quaint Inn, conveniently located in the heart of Porthmadog.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was very good. The location was convenient to the train station, the city, and the attractions we wanted to see (the heritage railways).

The room was a bit noisy, and the bathroom tiny.

Tidy, well cared for property

The property is very well located, as it is close to the charming high street, but adequately removed to mean it was quiet. The room was immaculate. The owners are hospitable & professional & it is evident that they take such care of the property, as it it very well maintained. The breakfast was impressive. Served in a charming, inviting breakfast room, I was pleasantly surprised by the wide selection of items that were part of the continental breakfast (e.g. fresh fruit, porridge, granola, cereal, a wonderful selection of toppings such as Brazil, cashew nuts, coconut, pumpkin seeds, charcuterie choices, featuring local cheeses, pastries, bread, jams). But, in addition, there were choices of a hot breakfast (e.g. full English, omelette, eggs, etc). It is a very generous offering & certainly sets visitors up for a day of walking & exploring. I think it is one of the nicest breakfasts we have had at a hotel.

Perfect place for pottering in Porthmadog

An ideal location with plenty of parking - easy walking into Porthmadog. A friendly welcome after my journey and then onto a comfy, cozy room with all the facilities you could need together with the option for anything else you only had to ask for. Superb choices for breakfast and the generosity of both a continental AND cooked choice. A gem of a find and a definitely a place for a repeat stay. Thank you Team Dobbers

A brilliant short break

Very nice room with twin beds as requested, nicely furnished, clean and comfortable Breakfast was excellent, cereals, fruit, yogurt, juice and continental or full English, there was something for all tastes. I didn't enquire about allergies because it didn't apply, but I'm sure they would have been catered for

Nice and cosy

Host friendly and welcoming. There is plenty of choice for breakfast and hot food cooked well . The beds were very comfortable, and the whole lodge was cosy and warm . The rooms were clean, and the bathroom sparkling cleaned. There was a small detail of an umbrella in the room, which was a nice touch as we had an evening of rain . Tea and coffee, etc, were also provided in the room .

Location was a little way from pubs and restaurants. However, there was plenty around .

The amazing selection at breakfast. Would have put a lot of 5 star hotels to shame. Nothing was too much trouble to our hostess.

For me as I have mobility issues the stairs leading down to the dining room were very steep. But I still managed them!

Everything, from the location, to the comfortable rooms, to the friendly host. Lots of great little details too like the replenished water bottles and milk in the fridge, having Rituals toiletries in the bathroom and having an EV charger

The ideal place for a stay in Porthmadoc.

Our room was very comfortable with a good bathroom and shower. The breakfasts were plentiful, to suit every taste. It is in a good location, just a short walk to the shops, restaurants etc.
