Clean hotel beds comfortable, breakfast good plenty of choice
Toilet room ceiling needs attention to decorating ,hard to fill kettle with water at sink kettle wouldn't fit under tap so advise to buy bottles of water

A last minute, very reaaonably priced night away with my partner on Valentines night. Location was perfect for exploring; a stones throw from the harbour. The staff were helpful, and the breakfast was superb. We couldnt get a table in the restaurant but the food looked and smelled delicious!
The bed wasn't the comfiest in my opinion, but it was acceptable. There was quite a lot of noise from floorboards of rooms being used upstairs. This is not something that can be helped in an old property but if you're a light sleeper it might be worth requesting a 1st floor room.

Super freshly coked breakfast. Staff very friendly and helpful.
If you have a heavy / awkward a suitcase ask for a ground floor room. Could have done with a second set of keys.

Central location. Room was clean.
No one answered the door at 3pm. I had no uk phone number. No posted WhatsApp number. Lucky someone else was also trying to check in and he had a phone. All sorted, but rough start. Room very small, nothing special. Breakfast good, but felt they weren’t quite ready for us even though we arrived at start time.
