    The hotel is pretty old, but clean inside the room. The building is placed perfectly, everything could be reached by walk. Despite the fact it is right beside the big pub with terrace, it is quiet after 10:30pm. Staff was friendly. The only one negative is lack of hot water, but there were extremely hot days (30C+), so I was even glad =)

    We stayed overnight at The Mitre after a concert at Stoller Hall. The hotel is ideally situated for any of the venues in Manchester, the rooms are comfortable, and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. Recommend this city-centre hotel.

    The rooms are nice and comfortable the beds are amazing great one night sleep I had. But there is a major hot water problem so if you visiting in winter be prepared for no shower or a quick cold shower. There are notes saying it run the hot water for about 15 min as it’s an old heritage building but even after running the water for almost half an hour I still ended up having a cold shower. Lucky it was summer time so after I got out and dried myself I was nice and warm enough after a few min again Other then that the hotel is great
