Nice hotel, convenient for discovering New Ross's attractions.

Breakfast was very good, lots to choose from. Dinner was very good although the portions were a bit too big.

The hotel was quite far out of town. Too far to walk so a car is essential.

Location was good. Room was nice. Staff friendly. Having a pool was a plus.

Gents changing room in leisure centre could have been cleaner. Some air-conn in the changing rooms would be helpful and towels might be bigger. Not all the facilities at the leisure centre worked but pool was nice, not to crowded and the sauna and steam room were good and hot.

A real mixed bag re the staff - bar and waiting staff were excellent, especially the lady from Hong Kong. The 2 reception staff looked and acted like they didn’t want to be there (and / or didn’t want us to be there!). We certainly didn’t get a warm welcome from the reception staff and they appeared thoroughly disinterested throughout our visit.

these days everyone has mobile phones but there are no USB charger in the room. it does not cost much to instal or change one plug socket which has USB port so that mobile phones can be charged. everyone carries own charging cable but not the plug that goes into electric sockets.

The location was fabulous but the hotel is showing its age. The furniture in reception was worn-out. The bar food was pricey and the smell of fish was very strong

The noise of the fan that came from our bathroom also at night if you got up to go to the toilet you woke everyone else trying to work out which was the bathroom light

A lovely hotel for a quiet break away. Setting was fantastic.

A nice selection on the menu for breakfast and dinner. The room we were staying in was very big, quiet and the beds were extremely comfortable.

The room was extremely warm. There was no air conditioning in our room (2nd floor), so we found it very difficult to sleep.

Beautiful Brandon

The location is excellent and the room and bed was very comfortable. I love the grounds of the hotel, particularly the serenity walk.

There were only two things that I did not like. 1. The lack of power points by the bed. 2. The lack of a centre light in the main part of the room and also the bedside lights do not give sufficient light for reading with comfort.

Hotel was well appointed. Clean. Very comfortable.Staff were professional and friendly. Had an evening meal at the Bar as we checked in fairly late. Food was very good with generous portions. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Really enjoyed our mini break

Friendly staff but desk and kitchen were unmanned at times so had to wait. Lovely food, leisure centre has lots of extras, loved the plunge pool.

Clean and comfortable, some aspects a little jaded but renovation is ongoing, bright, quiet room, clean and comfortable, good selection for breakfast and food was delicious. Toasted chicken sandwich from the bar was very good, nice fresh salad also.

Breakfast on the Friday morning was lovely

Room was too hot and limited controls on the radiators. We arrived 11.01pm and were told bar was closed (at 11pm!) and room service stopped at 9pm, stayed in many hotels over the years both for work and pleasure but this was a first for me, having travelled down from Dublin, we were told there was a vending machine we could get some food...... We had to leave to get back to Dublin for our flight by 8am on the Saturday and were told breakfast was from 8am and no flexibility even thou we had paid for breakfast! Also Friday morning builder started banging outside our door at 8am!!!
