Hotel Nation Montmartre

The location is excellent for Gare du Nord; it's about 12 minutes walk or 1 stop on metro if you prefer. If you can't walk that far you won't manage the stairs. Good size room although there was very little storage space. It wasn't particularly noisy inside the hotel or from outside. Good wifi connection. Very clean. Buffet breakfast was good value. There is no lift and I was on 5th floor so good cardio-training. Staff were very helpful and understood my pigeon French.

bit more cupboard space; a kettle in the room in the room would be nice. Buffet breakfast was good altho there was only one croissant each and the scrambled eggs were a bit runny. Lack of lift is fine for the moment but there will come a time when it will be an issue.

Room lovely decor and air conditioning was such a benefit. perfectly small but well designed

room overlooked the inner courtyard. AS much as real life and old buildings dictate the state of this, it was not a pleasant outlook but quiet is what I asked for and quiet is what I got. Although the location is excellent for travel, the surrounding area has always been a bit sketchy...rubbish bags in 35 degree heat were not pleasant.

The hotel was good. Had what we needed and was clean.

In room coffee would have been nice. Walk up the road towards Sacre-Coeur, you have a really nice neighbourhood. Walk the opposite direction towards the busy road, it’s a bit sketchy. Train station a block or so away was very sketchy. One Uber driver warned us about pickpockets in that spot.

Very good staff. Very clean.

We were placed at 5ft floor and there is no lift. We got a lot of language and we tried to request for a different room but did not allowed despite the appeal.
