Comfortable, clean and a good location, helpful staff at reception

Housekeeping was not up to standard, only 1 towel left in the room the second day, I had to go looking for clean towels, shower gel not topped up. Air con was useless in our room and it was soo hot 🥵

It was really comfortable

They didn’t leave us toilet paper one day

Location, staff were friendly and available

Bed was lumpy, tv did not plug in.

Location was great & the size of the bed (super king) and was comfortable. Nice pillows. Friendly staff.

Carpets weren’t clean in the corridors & hallway, if this was presented better & the hoover moved from one of the staircases, the hotel would feel much cleaner. The brick wall view out of the window with a scary open drop was not a room with a view, I would recommend frosting the glass half way to obscure the view of the wall. On check out, we were told to wait in reception whilst another staff member went up to our room to carry out a “security check”, made us feel quite uncomfortable and the reason given when asked was that they didn’t want us to leave out belongings in the room as it would mean having to come back, all very odd. Lots of noise from other guests in the room opposite up to midnight. 3 members of staff on a very small reception seemed overkill and unnecessary, all lovely but all 3 checked us in, maybe suggest 1 on reception & 2 cleaning the stairs.
