The view across the Loire to the chateau.
That the toilet was in a separate room to the wash basin - so, after using the toilet, before you can wash your hands you have to open the toilet door, go into the bedroom and then open the shower room door, touching everything as you go - very unhygienic!

This hotel is not very convenient for travellers. There is no restaurant, which I didn’t realise when I booked. Fortunately the Auberge Reine de Sicily is only 5 minutes walk away and is excellent. However if I were a single female staying at the hotel, I would not want to walk there by myself. They do offer snacks at the hotel via room service which would be the other option. The parking is convenient however
