Excellent location. The views from the hotel were excellent across the river and looking across to the town of Saumur and the Chateau. It was a short walk across the bridge to the main town. A great hotel bar/dining room over looking the river. The breakfast was excellent. Beds very comfortable too.
The room was rather small - although we only booked a standard double so can’t really complain - but just an observation. The shower over the bath leaked badly making the bathroom floor very wet.

Good location, good views.
The air conditioner was not working properly, especially in hot weather. The bed had many layered blankets. The breakfast was overpriced and not very good.
