What a fabulous and very special place to stay. The château itself is absolutely beautiful and well worth arriving a little earlier so you have time to enjoy the surroundings and the atmosphere.
We reserved a family room for two adults and two children, aged 12 and 15, so practically adult-sized! The room worked perfectly for us, with two proper twin beds for the children and a very comfortable king-size bed for us.
The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, and there were lots of thoughtful touches in the room — beautiful Nuxe products, little treats waiting for us, and lovely coffee available too. Everything felt very comfortable and well considered.
We slept extremely well and it was wonderfully peaceful and quiet.
Overall, a really memorable stay and so much more than simply somewhere to spend the night. If you’re stopping here, give yourself enough time to enjoy the château itself — it really is a special place. We would definitely come back.

Orangerie Restaurant was very good
No air conditioning
Ceramic Tile joints in bathroom shower were black!
There was a foul smell in the rooms.

WOW! What an experience! This was during a romantic trip with my wife (48 year-olds) without the children. Exactly what we needed. The building itself, the decor, the staff, the room, the food... exceptional.
