The Louise de Savoie is an excellent base for exploring Blois. We enjoyed our stay there.

Location is very handy for station and town centre. Breakfast is good. Staff are friendly. Rooms on the main floors are clean and well appointed.

Our first stay at the hotel was in an attic room with stairs that could not easily be negotiated with a suitcase. The room, although spacious, had rather inconvenient and cramped sleeping areas.

Rooms renovated reacently - perfect hotel for a night or two when cycling along the Loire

We were three adults and our room was perfect for us. It was like a small flat with two separate bedrooms. There was also a small kitchen in the room with the single bed. Everything looked very clean and new and in fact the room had only been renovated six months ago. It seems that all the other comments are a bit outdated. The breakfast was exceptionally good and had a great selection. We were able to store our bikes safely. It was very quiet and we slept well. I can really recommend this hotel for a stay in Blois.

THEIR OPENING HOURS, I did not know that they close from 11.30 am to 3pm???? so we had to visit the town with our luggage, we were amazed to discover that tourist hotels can close during daytime. The room was not that comfortable, the floor made of a kind of "rope" carpet? was uncomfortble for naked feet.

It smelled like somebody’s grandma died, my wife refused to stay at this hotel so we left after 20 min of arrival. Better spend 20€ more for regular ibis than this…

Nice, small hotel that is comfortable and has a good breakfast.

The hotel is a very nice small hotel with a great location. You can walk to the old town of Blois very easily. It is also very close to the train station. The room and bed were very comfortable. The room is not large, but it was adequate. It was also nice and quiet. The breakfast was very good with fresh bread, croissants, yoghurt, cereals, and fruit.

Although they were fairly helpful, the reception desk staff were not particularly friendly. I stayed a total of six nights and this was my distinct impression and I do not believe it was a language barrier. So that is one thing that could be improved. it would also have been nice to have complementary tea in the evening as many hotels offer.
