Sky Hotel Goussainville Charles de Gaulle

Its availability due to having other booked accomodation cancelled on us last minute. The room was clean if not a little dated.

The area was frequented by a lot of small gangs of males which made for an uneasy feeling. The fact that the gates to the hotel were closed quickly behind us really didnt give us that aire of confidence in the area.

Arrived at 00:30 today and its now 05:15 in the morning I sleep for 1 hour because of other people in another room are screwing and listen hard music since I arrived K I hear it in my room and I can't sleep from it. Its not normal for 65 euro!!! Very very bad dont go here!! This is not a hotel more like a club at the hotelroom. This is not normal. I wanted to go at 11:30 but put my wake up time to 09:15. Very bad experience here !!!!!

The staff was nice. Otherwise the rest was disappointing.

There was a bad smell in the room upon entry. The mirror in the bathroom was dirty, Lot of dust in corners. I didn’t expect luxury but just fair value for money. Which unfortunately was not the case.

Disgusting - brown stains on mattress, dark hairs, dirty, non-smoking room had an awful smell of smoke, gave both of us sore throats and weird heaviness in chest (even my friend who is an occasional social smoker had trouble with the smell). Booking.com couldn't be less helpful - told us we had to suck it up as they couldn't do anything for 24 hours so we booked elsewhere. Receptionist told us to contact booking.com regarding refund (booking.com told us it was hotel's responsibility to respond regarding to refund, so a lie?). As hotel was refusing to respond to booking.com requests (5 days now after promising an initial fix within 24 hours), they couldn't issue a refund and basically told me they couldn't do anything until hotel responded, gave no timeline, said they couldn't help. I asked what would happen if hotel just decided to never respond, they said they couldn't ever move forward? Told me to contact the hotel myself (even though legally it's booking.com's responsibility as I paid them, if they can't contact the hotel, why would I be able to? And have to pay out of pocket for international calls and it's not included in my plan unless I pay extra? No.) Booking offered me a 20/25 euro "goodwill" gesture. Awful. Fortunately Paypal are excellent and have given me a full refund already.

Possibility to book without pre-payment. Good service of the staff.

The arrival at night - had to go out of the car to press the alarm - by doing that I almost drowned in the holes in the road. Better to fix that first.

It was absolutely discusting ,cigarette burns all over carpet and curtains ,pillows were stained ,no cups so gave us paper cups , smelt very musky ,skirting boards looked like they hadn't been cleaned in years ,I was so upset as we booked 10 places with booking.com and that was last one...I've seen better hostels ,it should be closed down

Very noisy at night - traffic, planes, and other guests. Inflexible - we couldn't change our booking when we needed to

It’s located close to motorway, train station and shops.

The rooms smell of cigarettes. There were wholes in the curtains. Generally good staff but facilities aren’t good.
