They were good but having a smoke alarm going off in our room at around 2:30am and when we arrived having to wait 40-50min with our kids being 4 -6 was a nightmare.

Arrival our room wasn't ready had to wait 40-50mins with two screaming kids in the lobby. Smoke alarm going off at 2;30am due to a low battery I think but no one even came up to our room. I ended up taking the alarm off the ceiling. They gave us free parking and said someone would be in touch to offer us something but never heard a thing.

Good location. Huge, comfortable room with good facilities. Friendly staff. Very nice restaurant & bar. Outside space. Lovely pool with spa .

I loved everything about our stay. Facility/rooms was up to standard. It was very good.

The apartments were value for money. First family of four. Good size.

Housekeeping needs to be done better. When we checked into our room. The rubbish bins were emptied. Cups were not cleaned properly. We stayed for three nights. Every morning the bfast was overwhelmed. Staff tried their best to accommodate everyone but hotel mgmt should consider hiring more staff for peak season

The hotel itself is pretty old and run down. Staff weren’t particularly nice to us, I’m not sure we looked like the usual hotel clientele. Parking was a nightmare but we managed to sort it out for ourselves.

Pleasant and comfortable stay

The room was spacious with comfortable beds.

The jug, cups, glasses etc are placed in the cupboard under the tv cabinet and you need to wash them in the bathroom sink along with filling the jug, no tea towel supplied. The lifts were very slowly and one out of order without and signage

Absolutely amaazing my kids loved the room service, food was quick and friendly staff

I like to be away from home. and the pool and the gym was very convenient for me and my kids to access.

In the Sauna there were a lot of little roaches ( Need clean up) in the the Sauna. Also around the pool should have a rubber mat for walking way as it is very slippery. Like the mat you put on the way to the bath roo, (the blue one) should have like a walk way all around the pool.

Breakfast was fantastic with lots of options and fresh. Location was fantastic also and the valet parking was very convenient. Staff were helpful and very friendly.

Our room had no fan in the bathroom. There was loud music that seemed to be coming from a nearby bar/venue that was going most of the night on both friday and saturday.

Great location to explore local attractions

Good sized rooms. Very good sound proofing, hotel was busy but couldn’t hear people in adjoining rooms. Excellent restaurant and breakfast options.

No issues at all but could be a bit difficult for anyone with mobility issues due to location ( steep hill to walk from Britomart transport centre)

Would absolutely stay again! We had an amazing time.

It has everything you need. The indoor pool is great as it doesn’t matter if it’s raining. The gym is incredible. The breakfast is the best part, it was amazing.

The manager in charge of the staff at the restaurant and bar didn’t seem to treat the staff well. A lot of the staff were younger and the manager didn’t have much patience. He was great to us as guests, but not his own staff. We stayed on 22 August 2025.
