Wir waren drei Tage im Manor; Ein richtiges Manor, unser zweites Zimmer war sehr gut, der Zimmerwechsel war problemlos und freundlich. Sehr gute Verpflegungsmöglichkeit auf dem Gelände. (1 Stern Michelin) weitläufiger Park. Gute Beratung. Weindegustation.

Das uns ursprünglich für drei Tage zugewiesene Zimmer (Ardene) sollte nicht angeboten werden. Die Fenster sind mit Michglas versehen, ein Blick nach aussen nicht möglich. Nur ein Fenster lässt sich einen kleinen Spalt öffnen. Für eine einzelne Nacht kein Problem, für einen Aufenthalt von drei Tagen eine Zumutung.

Cosy room, in Butlers Lodge area, which felt very private and quiet. All the thoughtful items included in the room. Flexibility about making gluten free versions of bar food menu.

The estate is beautiful, staff is great, breakfast and dinner was very good.

The hotel needs a bit of TLC and better cleaning. We also felt that there was an effort to make or save money from each stay, on top of what is a very pricey room for what it is. For example, the tour of the estate could be complimentary. Even more odd was our experience of Breakfast. The menu listed pastries as part of the buffet but noone was on display. When we inquired, we were told that we are allowed one cinnamon bun per room but they could do an exemption and give us two. This was very odd given that all rooms are double occupancy and that I think with the price you pay you could be 'allowed' more than half a bun!
