I have been coming to this hotel with my family every year for five years and I have and pay for two rooms here. I have been very satisfied here in previous years. This year, the whole family stayed here again and rented two rooms. My Thai wife and I immediately had a problem at check-in. The staff helped me with my suitcases right away (probably because I am a farang), but not my wife. She had to ask the staff for help, and their behavior were inappropriate. The second problem occurred yesterday. When my wife arrived at the hotel early, the staff refused to give her the room key and threw her out in front of the hotel to wait. I am very disappointed with the behavior of the staff at this hotel. It seems to me that they only care about farangs, but obviously not about Thais. Which is very rude.This hotel is definitely not Thai-friendly. I expected compensation from the hotel for this incident, perhaps in the form of breakfast, dinner, a better room, or something similar. My wife and I were here on our honeymoon. And as I already wrote, I booked two rooms here every year. After this experience, I will never return to this hotel. When I return to Phuket in April, I will find another hotel that values customers of all nationalities.
