Andakira Hotel - SHA Extra Plus

The Hotel is very clean, with a very welcoming Hotel staff. The Hotel has family guests and they offer Halal Breakfast. The room service is very prompt. It is very well maintained with absolute no worries for safety . We did not come across any incidents of indecent behaviour or alcohol related episodes at the lobby in the lifts or near the Hotel area. The Staff is very professional and friendly. The check in was smooth and so was the check out. The location is the best in Patong with many Halal restaurants and Mall around.

We were asked to keep deposit 2000 BHT per room. However our deposit money was returned without any issues .

Well located in Patong, close to Bangla road. Convenience stores, pharmacies, laundry are all walking distance. The room was spacious with good views. The staff was friendly and attentive.

The breakfast buffet could include more food varieties like cheese, wider selection of fruits

Bu oteldeki konaklamamdan çok memnun kaldım. Resepsiyon personeli Min son derece güler yüzlü, yardımsever ve profesyoneldi. Odam temiz, konforlu ve her gün titizlikle temizleniyordu. Otelin konumu mükemmeldi ve birçok turistik yere kolayca ulaşabiliyordum.

A Hotel ‘Factory’ — Guests Processed, Not Hosted We have stayed in four hotels on this trip, and the other three all received five-star reviews from me. They weren’t the best hotels in the world, but they showed care, attention, and a genuine effort to look after their guests — which is ultimately what hospitality is about. At each of those hotels, management actively enquired about our well-being and whether we needed anything during our stay. At this hotel, however, the experience was very different. Staff appeared largely disinterested, and communication was kept to an absolute minimum. We had carefully booked and paid in advance for two adults and one child. On arrival, we were immediately told that if we wanted a properly sized bed for our child, we would need to pay a significant additional fee. We were then informed that there was already an “extra bed” in the room — which turned out to be a 1.4m couch mattress, completely unsuitable for a child of nearly 1.5m tall. When we raised this, it was casually suggested that our child should simply sleep in our bed if there was a problem. This response showed a serious lack of care and empathy toward guests. As expected, our child could not use the provided “bed” and ended up sleeping with us. To make matters worse, after two days, housekeeping simply removed the child’s bedding altogether — despite the booking clearly being for three guests. The room itself was otherwise decent, and the main bed comfortable — but only for a couple. Again, it felt like the setup had not been thought through for actual guest needs. On arrival, we were also proudly handed a voucher for a “complimentary welcome drink.” However, when we went to redeem it, the barman barked at us and filled a glass with ice to the brim, adding no more than about 50ml of what tasted like purple sugar water. Rather than feeling welcomed, it felt like a box-ticking exercise. Breakfast was another disappointment.
