The room was tired. I dropped something behind the bed and when I moved it to retrieve the item it was filthy. Moreover there were nuts and sweets on the floor amongst the dust and dirt. Lord knows how long they’d been there. The evening meal was poor. I am glad that I got the room package where the meal was included as I wouldn’t have been happy paying £17.50 for a Chicken Tikka Massala that was obviously microwaved and tasted very non descript. I thought the hotel looked ok on the photos when booking but it is not somewhere that I would stay in again by choice.

Loved it would go back and take my ear plugs

We were there for the boxing night which was amazing and the disco afterwards. The room was lovely, on the small side but that was not a problem. It was clean. Staff at reception were very good and helpful.

bed was comfortable, tea and coffee facilities were fine, tv was large, temperature in the room was just right, room was clean and functional

One of the lifts was out of order and plastic barriers in the lobby looked very unsightly. On my arrival after a very long day, Reception couldn't find my booking and made me return to my car to get paperwork to prove I was actually booked in with them. By the time I returned to reception, they had miraculously found my booking! After much consternation and checking of their booking system, Reception eventually sent me to a room which was already in use by 2 people getting ready for their night out. As I did not expect the room to have anyone in it, I let my dog just trot straight in and so he jumped on the bed and frightened the guest who was lying on it to death, understandably!!! I was so embarrassed. I came back down to Reception to explain about the room being in use and they gave me another room. I went up again to the second room they allocated me and this too had somebody already lying in the bed! I went back to the Reception yet again and was finally given another key for a third room which thankfully was empty. After a very long day and drive, this level of service was absolutely not what I needed. They genuinely had absolutely no idea what they were doing. When I checked out the following morning, the new Receptionist told me that I was not in the room I quoted, according to her system. I explained the farce from the night before and in the end she just said "oh" and clearly had no idea if anything had been charged to any of the rooms or anything. Needless to say, If I end up getting any kind of bill for room service on a room I was not in, I will be livid.

A sad decline for a once very good hotel

Staff very pleasant but lacking direction meant poor service, mess, etc

Checked in, room tiny, very tired e.g. Broken light fittings, lack of valance on bedding. But worst was toilet not clean on arrival and took 2 hours and 3 reminders before finally cleaned. Hall carpet threadbare and hazardous, only one lift due to other clearly permanently out of order meant staff using it transport dirty linen. lift also tired with broken displays and taped floor. Poor breakfast not managed meant empty dishes and other dishes with dried up dreggs of food on buffet. Finally lack of guidance meant that halfway through service tables were piled up with dirty dishes. In summary, lack of knowledgeable supervision in every area made experience very poor

Avoid if in a wheelchair

Room was reasonably clean. Staff were okay.

The room's bathroom was terrible. The bath was tiny and was impossible to use. This was because the over bath shower had a shower screen that couldn't open outwards due to the close proximity of the sink! This meant it had to be pushed inwards. In this position you couldn't get into the bath. The shower was almost impossible to use also, for the same reason and both of us ended up washing using the sink. My wife is wheelchair bound and, despite being told the room would be suitable (though not specifically for disabled use), it wasn't! Her chair could barely get in and out, with literally only about a millimetre to spare. Once in, we couldn't turn it around. Thank goodness there wasn't a fire as it, no exaggeration, took about 5 minutes to get her out of the room in the morning. Once out (at around 8 am) the corridor was full of housekeeping carts. This made it difficult to get to the lift. Staff were okay, but seemed disinterested and not motivated. If you are in a wheelchair, this hotel is NOT suitable and I would avoid it.

Don't stay if you want to sleep

Absolutely appalling stay at this hotel. Booked for working nearby so arrived around 9ish on Saturday night to see a party night in full swing with drunk guests staggering around outside. The room itself was OK until the party downstairs moved to the room next door. The night porter spoke to the occupants who found it hilarious and continued on. After hours of this, threatening to call police and not forgetting the naked man running up and down the corridor, we were told we could move rooms. In our pj's, bags in hand we settled into the new room and went to sleep only to be awoken 30 mins later by 2 new guests wandering into the room! The night porter arrived and seemed more angry at us for being in the room than he was interested in sorting the situation. Apparently there was no duty manager so no one could deal with it. We ended up back in our original room- party still ongoing. We were told that this hotel has party nights on Saturdays and so I don't think this is an uncommon occurrence. As of yet, I'm still waiting for a response to my complaint to Booking.com.

the hot water was cold, we could hear the functions until well after midnight, the pillows were no more than 30mm thick and the there were only 3 of them for the 2 of us, the bedside light did not have a bulb in it, the room was tired generally. All for £150 plus per night

Good place to stay if you’re flying out of Glasgow airport.

We always stay over here before flying from Glasgow airport and leave our car here it stays on site and you keep your keys. The staff are always really friendly. It is really close to the airport and their shuttle service runs every 30mins. We ate in the restaurant for evening meal and the food was nice.

We were on the 2nd floor and the rooms are a little dated but for a one night stay before flying out it’s fine.

Disappointing and won’t be coming back

Restaurant was great and food was generally good. Staff were really helpful and friendly

Asked for a room on ground floor due to elderly parents but they only have accommodation on first floor so they said we would be near the lift. Only problem was both lifts were out of order so my 88 year old parents had to endure four flights of stairs. My room stank of stale smoke and I think someone may have had an accident in the carpet but it obviously needed a deep clean.

Great value

Room was absolutely spotless with very comfortable beds. Also had a bath with overhead shower, rather than just a walk in shower. Our room was at the back(I requested a quiet room), and although there was a function on at night we didn't hear a thing. Also the room view was nice. This hotel is a five minute drive from Glasgow Airport.

The only downside to the hotel was breakfast- although the buffet was plentiful and fresh, it was luke warm and cold plates.

Toilet seat in room was broken (reported this to reception), lifts were broken, items (dinner and wine) were put on my bill in error. Event was great but table service did not happen, and buffet did not happen as expected. Unsure if this was a hotel event or a company outside but was disappointed at paying £50 a seat and not getting what was promised.

The reception staff was friendly and the area was clean .

The list is endless - the rooms were old and tired , the bathroom was not clean there was hairs on the door and floor . The restaurant- I waited over 1 hour for 2 starters and it had 7 tables , it was a shambles !
