    We had a really pleasant stay here. It has a friendly homely feel, enhanced by Andrea at reception and the rest of the staff. The room and bed were very comfortable. We especially reserved (according to Agoda info) a room with a bath, not just a shower. This had not been conveyed to the hotel but we were relocated very easily to the right accommodation. Real ground coffee plus cafetière in the bedroom and a very good value breakfast.

    Such a shame, staff were helpful on check in. But our room had broken secondary glazing, and the blinds didn’t fit the windows properly. Consequently the light from the station shone in ALL night and the noise of the trains too! Plus god knows what deliveries and bottles smashing early morning. Windows didn’t open for air either considering how stuffy it was in the room. The breakfast was minimal, beans on toast and poached egg consisted of 1 egg, 1 slice of toast and a spoon of beans. The yoghurt pots were out of date and the coffee was awful. Served out of filthy cafeterias. Having to pay for parking was not ideal considering where the parking was. Mentioned to staff upon check out regarding the room and it was laughed off. Gutted as Bath itself is definitely worth visiting. Overheard the couple in front of us at checkout also complaining. They were offered a measly 10% off their next stay, us, nothing.

    This is a great location and central to the majority of attractions in Bath. Everywhere we wanted to visit was in walking distance! And to top this off the staff we exceptional!

    Old charming Lovely little hotel that has wear and tear but the friendliness of the reception and staff make this an absolute gem!
