Iberostar Waves Bellevue All Inclusive

The resort is very clean and the gardens are beautiful! Most staff are very kind.

The hot food at the buffet was just average. Sometimes it was lukewarm. The line ups for the hot food are terrible, usually about 15 people in line and then the guests who don’t wait in line and just budge in, make people waiting upset. The variety of food doesn’t change much over the course of the week. Any fresh meats being freshly cooked as people pass by are dripping in oil and very overcooked. The desserts are completely a different story! Yum! Lots of variety, always fresh fruit and homemade ice creams. At night, there is nowhere on the resort you can escape from the music and the shows. It’s very loud until about 11pm. The last two items we disliked at the resort is that guests are allowed to smoke where ever they want with the exception of the dining areas. This gets complicated by the fact the hotel does not use air conditioning except June,July and August. Our room was around 30 degrees Celsius. Way too hot to sleep so you have to leave the patio doors wide open all the time to get any relief. If your neighbors are smokers on their decks, your room fills up with smoke too. Also, there is no room service and so no food or beverages (other than water coolers on each floor) from midnight to about 7 am. You are not allowed to remove or save any food from the dining areas. The bars inside the resort are not included in the all inclusive package. There is a charge for the drinks at those locations.

Great food, friendly and helpful staff, lots of entertainment

Bit out of the way but staff happy to order you a taxi

Everything

There was nothing that i didn't like

Food fresh - not much variety but fresh. Good location. The housekeeping staff and bar staff are great, so nice.

Some of the rooms are very dated. They advise no a/c (or heat) after August but they didnt have fans to use (finally when we got one from front desk it was broken!). The drinks are meh - beer very watered down, all soda is flat etc.
