Fantastic holiday in a great place with great hosts!

The hotel is just across the beach, it is very clean and the staff is fantastic, they catered to every our need, from check-in after midnight to small requests we had (extra blankets and such like). The best thing about the room is the large balcony with a view of the sea. The position of the hotel is great, there are plenty of supermarkets and restaurants nearby.

Location. Adequate Rooms. Only downside was missing a pool & choice of breakfast. Exceptional staff, nice quiet relaxing hotel in ideal location. Reasonably priced also

Good hotel, comfortable, nice location. You get, what you paid

- staff very kindly - clean room - close to sea - 2nd line from road (less noise) - all necessary infrastructure is near to hotel (shops, car-rent, restaurants)

- conditioner blowing right to the bed. so we had to to sleeping with open windows (there was some noise from another tourists sometimes)

Excellent Hotel, well located, favourably priced.

Excellent hotel, the staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are a great size, very clean and contain all that is needed for your stay. It's located a very short walk from the beach, restaurants, bars and shops. There's free parking behind the hotel with plenty of space. Of course the price of our room was also remarkably cheap for the location and quality of hotel. (Sea view room)

If I were to make 1 small criticism, the bed sheets are not wrap around, meaning that during the night they can move leaving you lay directly on the mattress. That's the only thing I would change.

Hotel with character in heart of Benitses

Grateful for welcome & ease of booking with amendments very much appreciated, lovely large room with balcony looking at beautiful peaceful manicured gardens ,great breakfast with lots fresh variety prepared by a lovely kind waitress /cook.

Shower facility basic but functional, small bathroom, ground floor has side exit so can be noisy & from reception and other guests coming & going. Softer pillows and mattress a suggestion.

The hotel is wonderful. You will not find such a combination of a low price with clean, beautiful and calm place near the sea! Moreover, Konstantin takes care of you like your brother! You feel yourself like you visited relatives in Korfu, not the hotel. 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

Very good hotel

It was very easy to find, in a good location. Parking was free and the rooms were big, clean and had a nice view. The staff were very welcoming and helped us with all our questions about the island. Special thanks to Konstantinos and Conny from the reception for making our stay so pleasant

Perfect place to stay in Corfu Island

perfect place to stay in Corfu: location is really good because you are closed to bus stops (6 to go to Corfu town, and Green Buses if you want i.e. go to the wonderful Issos Beach), to the sea and to good restaurants. The hotel is in a small road so, at least in June, no noise at all during the night. The place is really clean and safe for women, also travelling solo. Definitely highly recommended

Good

Nice room, good size with private bathroom. Host was very welcoming despite our flight coming in very late at night. Shop was just down the road and beach literally a 1 minute was away.

Would have been nice to have some water in the fridge on arrival but all in all, this was a great stay.

Exceptionally clean apartment in the heart of Benitses!

The hotel staff were very warm and welcoming and made us feel at home. The room itself was tiled and spacious with a balcony facing the sea. The room was the cleanest Hotel I have probably ever stayed in, it was exceptionally clean which I was not expecting at all. The shower pressure was very good and the hot water didn't lose temperature at all. The area of Benitses is beautiful, it's a fishing villiage which is run down in places but you have amazing walks, restaurants, beaches and bus routes within minutes of the hotel. The beach is very close to the hotel and gives incredible views over mountains, in the evening and at sunrise the water turns a pinkish blue. The staff were quick to respond to any requests and left us alone to enjoy our stay but we're always on hand if we needed them.

Some of the facilities could use replacing, lights were not all working and no lock on the bathroom door. - However if we had mentioned any of this to staff I have no doubt it would have been rectified immediately.

Excellent hotel, at excellent location with great hosts

The staff were super-friendly and very professional. They answered all of our messages quickly, and really made us feel welcome, and made us feel like we can count on their help with any possible problem during our stay. Location is great. 2 minutes away from a lovely beach, shop, bus station, and excellent restaurants. 20 minutes bus drive from the center of Corfu town. Room was very clean and just as shown on the pictures. Beds are comfortable, and the balcony is quite spacious and pleasant.

I can't think of anything. Great value for money. I would recommend to anyone.

Really good hotel

Very convenient for getting around the island, with very good bus services. Plenty of good restaurants . Excellent staff, lovely garden, handy location, good standards in all respects. I was returning to an old haunt, so I must like it!

Perhaps a bit basic for some tastes, though not really mine.Hard mattress perhaps. Brief overnight stay by nuns who were very noisy early in the morning!

only location close to the beach is good.

it’s not a hotel, it’s rooms with no service. they don’t clean the rooms. you need to ask to change the towels. bathroom is very small. the shower is extremely small. rooms are small, doors and walls are thin. hot water is not regularly working. toilet smells. terrace is good but again no rooms service. overpriced for this quality. better get an airbnb. plus: we got free umbrella to carry with to the Beach from the reception, they helped with taxi.

Exceptional

The staff was very nice and helpful, they helped us with transport and fulfilled quickly any extra request we had. Can recommend wholeheartedly the rooms with big terraces looking at the sea, they are great for a family with 1-2 small children. The location is excellent and it’s right next to a great beach. It has shops and restaurants in the immediate vicinity too.

Amazing stay, thank you

Perfect location, just 2 minutes walking to the beach. The staff was super friendly and ready to help for anything we needed (for example they arranged a taxi to go to the airport, they waited for us for a late check in as our flight was delayed, they explained us the organisation of the bus to Corfu town and more). We had a very spacious room for 3: one single bed and one double bed, minimal but equipped with all you need during your holidays. Nice sea view from our big terrace. Nearby: Bars, restaurants, bus stop, car rentals, markets.

The room was very warm, however the air conditioning was working perfectly. Electricity works just if you’re in the room so you need to cool down the room while you’re in.

Very good

Konstantinos was very welcoming and helpful. The hotel is small and is located close to the main road in Benitses so easy walking to the beach or restaurants there, but still protected from the noise of the street. The room is small but comfortable and it has a balcony, big enough to relax and hang bathing clothes and towels. Benitses is strategically located to move around in the island, and this hotel is convenient and a good deal in the area.

The beds are a bit tired and the pillows are quite hard.

First class Arches Hotel - worth considering

The Arches Hotel staff were fantastic and really looked after us during our stay, they couldn't have done anymore. The hotel was clean, quiet and in a great spot (30m from the beautiful sea front) for exploring Benitses which itself is a fantastic small, friendly beach resort. The rooms were clean and simple (we had the Seaview and whilst it wasn't totally uninterrupted, we had a stunning view each morning when opening the curtains). If you're looking for a simple, well run typically Greek style small hotel in a quiet, family friendly resort then the Arches is a good bet.

No pool - although we knew this booking so wasn't an issue for us. There are pool bars in Benitses a 5 min walk away which happily allow you to use the pool if you buy drinks/lunch etc.
