Hotel Alkionis

The hotel was a good value in May. The staff were great, the rooms were clean, and both breakfast and dinner were very good. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

The hotel does not have parking, which was inconvenient. Also, the pool was not clean and could be maintained better.

Staff were extra friendly end polite. The meals were different every day.

The Music from the bar next to the hotel was very loud.

Close to the beach, which had inexpensive sunbeds (10e for 2 sunbeds and an umbrella), cleaning staff was very nice, spacious balcony, AC worked well.

The beds were very uncomfortable unless you like hard as stone beds. The pool looked dirty and had not very inviting surroundings. There was very unpleasant smell in our rooms, most likely coming from water pipes. As already mentioned by others, showering leads to the flood of the whole bathroom because there is no shower base and the water drained very slowly. The hotel doesn’t have its own parking, you need to park in a public parking lot in 300 meters. The food was not very good, though some days it was better than others. It’s ridiculous that a basic need like water is not included during dinner (we had half board), which was not the case in other hotels we stayed at. Overall, the hotel is in need of renovation and looks way better in photos.
