Very disappointed that we asked for a couple of minor repairs (fix safe and supply a plug for the bath) when we came back from our day out nothing had been done.
We had a kettle in our room but no cups to make a drink, just glasses. We also thought the breakfast was poor.
We expect much more for the money we paid.
On a plus side , friendly staff and great view.
The majority of things mentioned could easily be improved.

Boutique hotel. Very nicely maintained. Excellent restaurant. Exceptional customer service. Jesus, Lester and Alex were great! Highly recommend
Not a negative but the hotel is about 15-20 min away from city center. Up on a hill in a quiet neighborhood. Need a car/ taxi to get around

Beautifully furnished room, big terrace and the staff was super friendly

Clean place, comfortable bed, free parking, calm neiborhood
Location is not great, but we were with a car so it was not a problem. We had breakfast which are not good, as they are expensive and has very small amount of food, first time I had breakfast that was not a buffet - very disapointing

We really enjoyed the location - it’s close to the airport, which was very convenient after the flight. The hotel also offers stunning views of the city. We also loved having dinner at the hotel’s restaurant-the food was delicious, and the staff were very friendly.
We had a duplex room, and the staircase was a bit inconvenient and not very safe, especially at night.

We had a wonderful time at this hotel. Set back from the city on the side of a hill, it has a beautiful view as it overlooks the bay with the city. The hospitality was superb. Jesus could not have been a better host. The food and service was excellent. We were there for 4 days and were sorry to leave.
Nothing.

Superb location with the most fantastic view from our big patio. Dinner was very nice - one of the best steaks I’ve had in Spain.
What’s with the paper cups in the bathroom?

Highly recommended if you want a nice quiet evening with a good elegant dinner. Would be a nice treat before flying out the next day. It’s not far from the airport. Up in the hills with a nice view. Good parking available. Nice big bed. Two chairs and a little table and small refrigerator.
Our room had a bathtub only partly covered by glass so the water sprayed a bit on the floor. Slippery tile. Needed to dry off the floor. Due to the location it’s probably best for folks with a car.

Rooms were large enough, and we had nice view over the sea. Nice to have a balcony terrace too. Very good restaurant.
No air conditioning in the room.
Access and parking are difficult (very narrow and steep streets, parking too small)

Great views, very clean and staff super helpful. Food in restaurant was good and breakfast was filling and fresh
Room was a little basic and small for an out of city centre hotel

The location is high in the hills above Malaga, with wonderful views. The staff are very kind and happy. Housekeeping standards are high. I had the fitness breakfast which was overnight yoghurt oats topped with fruit felt a bit steeply priced at 14 Euros. The continental is basic the bread basket is very very generous. It was great as we arrived on a late flight the beds are very comfortable. The swimming pool is lovely. Free coffee and tea station, chilled water a real bonus.
Some of the furnishings are a little bit dated and tired, brown leather.

Location is amazing on top of a hill. You do need a car or rely on taxis. Very friendly staff, breakfast is basic but ok.
A bit pricy for fairly tired and not exceptionally clean rooms. But maybe that price is consistent across Malaga.

Decent view from the room, parking, fridge in the room and decent pool.
Didn’t keep promise to. Phone doesn’t work & the thermostat from the 90’s. Cant keep the room cold enough. Restaurant is very expensive

Excellent breakfast choices. Breakfast was flexible with different options & times, depending on what suited us best. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent too & represented good value. Service was of a high standard throughout. An extensive menu of dishes, good wine list and a well run bar. The pool area was well maintained & the views over Malaga, particularly at night spectacular.
Access to local buses was difficult given the hotel's location, which meant relying on taxis to travel into the centre.

The view
Having to drag our bags across the stones in the car park. You couldnt get a sandwich or snack. It had to come from the dinner menu!!

Alex went above and beyond to make us welcome when we arrived and throughout our stay. Nothing was too much trouble. Amazing food, our third visit there.

Welcome from the staff was great. Meal in the restaurant overlooking Malaga was lovely as was the 🍷 & price. Good pool area to sit in the sun but not the season to swim apparently?
Complimentary coffee & tea at reception.
Room was a little dated and cool. Older fashioned Spanish style but ok for our one night. Up a steep hill and out of town a bit, but perfect location for our one night.

The property is nice and private. There are not many rooms in the villa so the pool is not crowded which is super great. Villa is up in the hill with great view. And finally it has a private parking.
Breakfast is overpriced.

Family run hotel on top of a hill, further away from the chaos of the city. It was our last day of holidays, and it was great to be at such a comfortable and calm place. The staff was really friendly and welcoming - they even made an effort at speaking Portuguese! Breakfast was very robust, with 3 options available to order the day before. We also spent some time by the pool - a few leisure chairs, some in the shade and some in the sun, to suit each person's desires.
We stayed in the triple room, which had one king size bed and two single beds on a higher floor. Just to be aware: the top floor is attic-like, so it is more appropriate for children than adults. The stairs to the top floor are steep.

The place was private, quiet and with a very beautiful view of Malaga city. When going there, you definitely need a car with enough space to park it.
We had a room through two floors and there was not enough cool air going up. Breakfasts are made to order and additional orders are available for a fee.

Beautiful hotel, very nice room, comfortable room. Location is a little out of the center, but ok if you have a car. The view is superb. The restaurant is just perfect, amazing food!

quiet location, great views and very friendly staff.
The food in the restaurant wasn’t memorable. it’s a shame as it could be a real jewel with such a location.

The waiter at the evening meal was very professional and friendly. The evening meal was a very good standard and the view from the dining room was impressive looking over Malaga. The room had a great view too and was good value for money so much so that i returned on my return from my trip to Cordoba as it very convenient for the airport.
The breakfast was not a good standard - i requested fried eggs from a very unhelpful waitress who was positively bordering on rude. The eggs were drowned in oil and i cannot imagine that the dinner chef would have been in the kitchen at the time as she could definitely cook very well. Also disappointed that breakfast was not served in the dining room which was set up for the evening but would have been a nice touch for the morning.

A great place with a wonderful artistic context. Great, helpful service (especially thank you for the opportunity to prepare a takeaway breakfast when we were leaving for the mountains early in the morning). Delicious breakfasts with a captivating view. A quiet, intimate place, off the beaten track of the city, great as a starting point for trips outside the city.

Friendly staff & nice views of Malaga
The facilities are nice but antique, the price was as high as other modern options at the city center (with more amenities).
