The hotel was a larger, but the breakfast one than we had stayed in for the rest of our trip and as such is a little more impersonal & considerably more expensive, but then Santander was a bigger place and as a port town , this probably puts the prices up.
England were playing in the World Cup and we got to watch the first half in the bar/cafe, but then they just shut the bar without any notice, so we had to watch the rest of the game on my laptop in the room , without another drink. It closed at approx 11.45 as well which seems an odd time to stop serving

Location great for city break. Breakfast good.
Have stayed in this hotel several times, very disappointed with this visit. It is looking a little tired, needing a revamp. Facilities poor, paper cups (not acceptable), toiletries very poor quality, hairdryer - would be faster blowing on my hair. Had reserved a parking space with the receptionist, sadly and enjoyingly to find when I tried to park car all the spaces full. Compared to other hotels I have stayed in this area of Spain for the price, this hotel now does not meet the quality expected.
