Super friendly and helpful staff (Gracias Antonio!!) who recommended us good places to eat and visit in the city. The room and bathroom were simple but spotless and really comfy.
There is free street parking in front of the hostel, but the hostel itself doesn't seem to have parking, so a little luck is needed. Anyway the car felt safe and in a good spot.

Can’t fault this place, brilliant location for walking Santander or taking a bus. Staff were brilliant, so friendly and helpful. Very quiet location, I had a ground floor room which was immaculately clean and very comfortable. Parking for my motorcycle was directly outside and felt very safe although garaging was offered if required. There is a Lupa supermarket, bars and a terrific restaurant ‘Gambrinus’ nearby and it cost just over £55 a night, bargain.
Santander reminds me of San Francisco because it’s all hills, the disabled, elderly or wheelchair users may struggle here. Some streets are so steep they have escalators built into them!

Very friendly and informative manager; close to coastal walking path; ceiling fan
Small room space encumbered by 3 storage lockers instead of wardrobe; poor value for the money paid compared to other places we’ve stayed in northern Spain; no proper view to outside

The host was marvellous and made such an effort to ensure we were comfortable. It is always worrying when you arrive by bicycle, but the bikes were stored safely with no problems. He gave us great tourist information on buses and restaurants
It does feel like a converted hostel without the little hotel comforts
