Residenza Canova Tadolini - Guesthouse

Excellent location, friendly reception staff, good deal on price, quiet despite room facing onto street in central location, hotel has character, good sized room for the price, powerful hot shower

There was no cover on the duvet and we didn't get one until we asked a couple of times (even though they said it would be sorted that day) so got one on third day which isn't hygeinic Amenities listed on booking.com not accurate as new ownership had not updated details - no kettle so had to ask and got one a day later (which didn't work); TV didn't work; booked this hotel as the listing said it offered laundry service for a fee, but when asked to arrange it during our stay we were advised they don't do this anymore and didn't offer to help so we had to spend a few hours doing this ourselves at a laundrette. The room wasn't always clean when we left the sign asking for it to be cleaned even when we were only there for an hour between 8am and 6pm, and we didn't always get fresh towels when the room was cleaned, sometimes they just folded up the damp ones from the floor.

The staff were so lovely and welcoming The room was super comfy

Being an old building I could hear the guests next door

Very clean room, lots of towels, coffee machine, welcome treata.

Location is spectacular-just steps away from centre of Rome.

The old walls within the accommodation has quaint old material to decorate it -it looks beautiful but unfortunately there is no sound proofing. We could hear the people next door talking way into the night. Also I was concerned it being a fire hazard as the window in the room was very small.
