Good pool but the restaurant does not belong to the accommodation.

The pool was good for swimming. The pool was very fresch and there were the sun loungers to rest in. Good view from the restaurant (as the pictures show). The restaurant needs to be booked in advance.

The restaurant shown in the pictures does not belong to the hotel. You have to book it separately and it was partially closed (one of the two days we stayed there). This was not made clear when we booked. We were informed about this after we paid and it was not possible to cancel and get a refund. We chose this accommodation partly because of the restaurant.. Long walk to the pool and breakfast, around 600 m. The place looked a bit run down in the garden where the brekfast were, It didn't feel like they cared about it, it just felt a bit sad.

The beds were not comfortable, and therefore I did not enjoy my stay.

The restaurant was incredible.

I communicated multiple times that the coffee pot did not work and leaked all over the counter and requested some additional water as I had wasted it on the broken coffee pot. No pot was replaced and further they told me I could purchase water from the vending machine. Further, the washing machine did not work. I had to finally demand somebody come to my unit and release my clothes from hostage as they had been there for 24 hours wet. The door would not open. While I was looking for something that was rustic, farmhouse, and wine country inspired I did not expect it to smell like mold. When I requested to change units, they told me they were sold out. There was no apology, and no attempt to resolve. Finally, I thought this community was more cohesive however it is completely disconnected and therefore we did not enjoy any of the facilities.

Nice, authentic tuscan-style apartment in a wonderful olive farm area above Firenze that offers so much to do, e. g. swimming pool, hammock, gym,.... We also enjoyed the wonderful breakfast buffet as well as the support of the managers at site.

Beautiful location, just a flooded bathroom.

The rustic apartments are really beautiful. The pool was lovely and the views from the terrace were absolutely divine!

Our bathroom flooded everytime we used the shower and remained slippery and wet over 12 hours after someone had had a shower which was dangerous as it was so slippery. The road to the property is narrow (country lane style) so do be confident on the Italian roads if you stay here.

Beautiful scenery, peaceful atmosphere and old Italian charm

The views were amazing and why we booked this place to begin with! We wanted to get out of the city a bit and this was a great spot for that. The room was cozy and comfy; and breakfast each morning was really nice! If you want to have more of a view while staying in Florence, this was a nice spot. You do however have to think of transportation, we rented a car and drove up ourselves, the roads are a bit narrow going to and from this spot which was a little stressful as we worried about cars coming when we didn't have much room for two cars to pass, but we managed and it is pretty secluded in that area, meaning not a lot of traffic to worry about. It's a decent size property and we walked all around the trails, we could tell this place could use some TLC as there were a lot of spots that needed some maintenance, however, that gave it some Italian charm. :)

We were completely bummed about the pool not being opened, it looked like a nice pool area, but they were still needing some maintenance done on it and could not open it just yet when we were there. The "gym" was also not worth even having - very old equipment and machines that didn't look sturdy to even use. I would recommend they update it or just remove it and turn it into something else. We stayed a Sunday and Monday night, Monday being our full day there; our plans were to have this place be a place we would hang out at, relax, enjoy the pool, the scenery and the on-site restaurant, but found out the restaurant isn't open on Mondays and with the pool being closed at that time; we ended up having to make a whole day trip to the city anyhow (thankfully we had a car to do so); which was a shame and not what we were expecting to have to do.

Claudioa,children and Guisepe were wonderfull and were always cheerful snd helpful which made it enjoysble.

It looked beautiful both in its location and the rustic look of the gorgeous buildings and large grounds

The interior of the room was shabby chic, which is ok, but the furniture as tired and u comfortable . Only cooking source was a solid plate hob. A few mismatched pans and minimal utensils and cutlery . If we had known that the pool would not be open until June we would have chosen a later date. Loungers eventually available in the garden were not very clean neither were tables and chairs . All need upgrading sadly

Beautiful Location and Wonderful Staff

The staff at Fattoria Il Milione were amazing, helpful and always available. The room was spacious and had lots of things we needed such as a washing machine. The grounds and the view from the grounds were beautiful!

Due to visiting out of season, which is our own fault we didn't see the property at its best. As we were more interested in visiting the centre of Florence than exploring Tuscany and didn't have a hire vehicle, the location of the hotel meant that we found ourselves needing to spend a lot of money on taxis daily. Again this is not the fault of the hotel and if you hire a vehicle or plan to spend time in the hills, it is ideal.

Staff were very friendly and helpful... the location was great and so tranquil... but you do need a car to get there and back. It was only 15 minutes into the old town of Florence... would definitely go back.

This property is so gorgeous & peaceful. Beautiful views, amazing partner restaurant a short walk away, lovely pool, large apartment rooms. The staff is so lovely. I don't have one compliant about this space. So much better value than the hotels in the city & you get so much more. We never wanted to leave. Will definitely return.

A wonderful place to relax and enjoy.

It bed was very comfortable. We also enjoyed sitting in the big livingroom in the main house. The staff were personable & responsive when we needed something. I would definitly go back. The setting was quite lovely.

The washing machine wasn't working properly or I didn't know to use it. Though when we got there there was water in the bottom of it that hadn't spun out from the previous people.

Hard to get around with a wheelchair, however they let you park close to the pool. You can’t get to the office to check in with a wheelchair. Not at all. You have to have help.

Distance from the room to the pool. Our room was about 1km away, so walking to the pool with kids is not an option which is odd given the apartment we were in, big enough for 5 was so far away.

I really enjoyed my stay, Fattoria Il Millione was very comfortable and safe.

The moon was beautiful and the area was breathtaking. I definitely enjoyed the nature and everything that the area offered. The breakfast was filling in definitely a treat.

The lighting in the room could’ve been a little brighter. I know this area is countryside, but it should be recommended to have a car while staying at this location.

Breakfast was excellent, lovely around the poolside. Rooftop terrace overlooking the Lake. Short walk from centre. Tropical lush gardens and very helpful and friendly staff. Bathroom was lovely and modern

The location was great. Could have used a few more coffees in the room each day. With a car the tram was an easy drive away to make it into Florence. A little difficult to find the location but once you do it is very convenient.

Beautiful location, not recommended if you don’t have a car

The location is beautiful, in the Tuscan hills. The pool area is very nice and well equipped. Breakfast had a good continental selection of a good standard. The restaurant had great food and was a life saver, except when it was closed for a private booking. It can be booked through Quandoo which is helpful as the staff there don’t speak much English.

The location of the property is remote and we found that taxi drivers do not like going there, which means a car is needed unless you don’t wish to leave the property at all during your stay. The location of the two bedroom apartment is a 10-15 minute walk from breakfast and everything else which is hard for those with limited mobility. The property could be exceptional with a bit more effort - maintenance is not of a very high standard, there is no shop on site or close and, very little was provided in the apartment (no tea, coffee, cleaning materials or even a mop to help with the messy shower.) Some of the staff are a little rude and temperamental. Contrary to what it says on the listing, there are no products like oil or wine available on site, and the wine tasting is a 10 minute drive or taxi away.

Amazing stay!

WOW! What an incredible experience.. 2 days spent here felt like 2 weeks.. An absolute perfect escape, close enough to Florence yet feels like a world away. This property and its villas are everything I could have dreamt of and more. The beautiful wildlife, the views and outlook, the pool, the gardens, the lake! It was pure relaxing bliss after 3 weeks of travelling Italy. The restaurant they recommend for dinner was also great, with amazing views and food! Staff were welcoming and very helpful. Brought my luggage to my door as I did not have a car and organised a taxi pick up on my behalf.

Beautiful old building, quirky art throughout.

Tiny shower shoulders literally touching glass doors, had to turn off water and open doors in order to bend over to wash legs and feet. Tiny cramped kitchen smaller than a boat galley.
