Definite recommendation!

Exceptionally friendly staff, very good breakfast, quiet, and there's a bus stop right outside the hotel. Also the Swiss consulate is on the premises, there's probably a story there.

Wonderful relaxing few days

It is a charming hotel with very comfortable rooms, excellent choice at breakfast. It is beautifully situated and I walked down Via San Leonardo past Forte Belvedere each morning to get to the centre, or in the opposite direction to get into the Florentine hills. Also it is very convenient to get places if you don’t want to walk and would prefer to go by bus, as the buses stop just outside the property.

Nothing really, although I would like to come back in the summer months in order to enjoy the swimming pool.

This is a beautiful location in a quiet, upscale neighborhood of Florence.

We loved the space that this hotel provided, the room was spacious and traveling with friends there was a place to sit and gather.

The distance from the city center was a a challenge in the rain and required a taxi. This became expensive after a few days.

Park Palace was a beautiful and serene oasis outside the buzzing city center.

My husband and I stayed here during our wedding and it was wonderful. We were given a room with a gorgeous terrace overlooking the hills beyond the quiet yard. The breakfast was delicious -- loved starting our morning out in the peaceful garden overlooking the pool. The room was better in person than in photos. We loved it and will come back for sure!

If you don't have a car, it's a little bit out of the way from the city center. Easy walk downhill but coming home at night not as easy.

Situated just outside Florence it’s nice not to be in the centre. Hotel is quintessential. Staff are great. Very friendly and helpful. We used taxis to get into Florence.

An authentic Italian country retreat where grace and style thrive in today’s tourist mayhem

Immense charm of the building and gardens combined with authentic decor and furnishings creates wonderful first impression . One could be spending time in a private home. Experienced and mature staff always on hand to advise and assist in a non intrusive manner. Good sized bedroom with fully working a/c and bathroom facilities. A haven to return to after the mayhem of Florence centre - especially the pool.

35 minute walk into town while good for ‘steps’ and largely downhill, was a challenge on the return!

We liked everything about this hotel. Quiet and attractive. Comfortable yet spacious. Clean. The staff were professional and helpful. Special thanks to Sabrina at reception! Highly recommended. We will return.

Calm and relaxing hideaway in busy Florence

Clean and calm hotel on top the hills of Florence away from the crowd and ideal for hot summer days to relax at the pool during those hot hours. Rooms well equipped, clean and breakfast outstanding buffet. Pretty street leads from the hotel directly to the center in a 15min walk. Optional stop at forte di belvedere for a great view over the city. Uphill and back to the hotel we took a taxi, there is also a public bus.

Parking can be booked as an extra for 15€.

Excellent location and facilities, The Park Palace Hotel suited our needs perfectly. Car parking on site and an easy walk into the centre of Florence. The pool was a nice touch with lovely gardens surrounding the grounds

The pool and terrace

Everything else. Not 4* by any means. We moved after one night to an actual 4*. The room spelt, , very dated, old, needs a refurb of rooms. Breakfast low quality.

Tranquil stay close to the centre of Florence

Beautiful and peaceful escape from the bustle of Florence city centre. Close enough to walk in or catch a bus/taxi but far enough to relax and have a peaceful escape. The property is very tranquil and there is plenty of room to sit around and relax. Breakfast was wonderful. Excellent variety and attentive staff. We enjoyed eating on the terrace. Bed was comfortable and room was refreshed daily.

Parking was an additional charge which is disappointing as there is plenty of car parking space on the property. We felt it should be included for the price of the room. Water not replaced in the room after initial complimentary bottle.

Only fault was eating at night as only salads or antipasta on menu which was lovely for daytime but after a busy day sightseeing it would have been nice to have a lovely meal at the hotel . Only 2 restaurants within walking distance aswell

The staff are the best. Very friendly. The room was quite spacious, with very good AC, which was really important in the middle of the heat wave that we experienced. Walking distance from Vatican and Trastevere. Stop with buses connecting with the rest of the city within 3 mins walk.

Elegant building, steeped in history.

The location, the room, the feel and age of the building. The pool and gardens are lovely. Delicious breakfast….. I had to resist fruit tart with cake with cookies lol

Despite the noise we had a great stay.

Breakfast was excellent. We enjoyed being a bit further away from the city and the walks back to the hotel were good exercise.

We wanted a quiet room and yet we were given a room right next to the lift which is very noisy. The soundproofing is quite poor and all the plumbing is also very noisy. Nobody wants to hear when people in other rooms are using their bathrooms. The old wardrobe also makes a lot of noise when opening/closing.

Unforgettable...

Everything was AMAZING... I was not expecting such a breathtaking surrounding, the nature was extraordinary, and having a meal in the garden and on balcony, you feel like royal. Also, the parking was available at the hotel, and the best part, it is really close to the city center, you can go for a walk in wonderful ambience.

Florence villa experience

We had a great experience of staying a few days at traditional Tuscan villa. The vintage furniture, paintings bring the charm to the hotel. The hotel is perfect for those who like to be nature surrounded without the tourist crowds. The city center is about 20-25 minutes of walking down a calm street. Safe parking place on the hotel‘s territory is also a plus.

Not a big variety of restaurants nearby. It would be great to have some snacks at the hotel.

It was the tonic we needed after a long train journey

It felt very comfortable and relaxed. We felt we were in a natural environment but the city was nearby,

It would have helped if the staff had warned us about the bus tickets. We were fined for not having stamped ours. I know it is not their responsibility to do this but it would have avoided an unpleasant experience. However they were brilliant in every other respect.

Arrivederci..... But not for long.

We loved the location. Bus stop right outside that takes you into the centre in a few minutes. Staff were all very friendly and professional towards us throughout our stay. Breakfast had a wide range of options. Hotel was spotless.
