Amazing stay!

JA Resort is perfect for a getaway - it is a real GETAWAY from the busy-ness of the city. Although it is isolated, there is so much to do in the hotel that you do not feel it at all. I loved that hotel staff walk up to you and try to engage you in different activities taking place in the hotel. Everyone was kind and polite. Excellent stay!

This resort is the best one I have ever stayed in. I booked a trip for me and my mam as she flew over to see me from Ireland. We both had the best time. The staff were so amazing and the facilities were just so amazing.

2 star hotel masked as a 4 star one

Big, quiet and lots to do. Clean rooms and great ground keeping

Staff were generally friendly but very poorly trained to handle complaints or how to solve problems. Our first room had no hot water. We had to ask them for a new room which they said they will check if hot water works. We changed rooms and still no hot water in that. The manager handled the situation poorly. He spent 30 minutes saying they need to check it first, but this is the second time it was happening. It then stopped again and he was arguing that water needs to run for 5 minutes before it gets hot but it wasn’t like that before. I had to call him up to the room to check which felt like I was dealing with a 2 star hotel. Only after an hour of complaining and escalating, we were offered another room - that too in a very condescending manner Not what you’d expect in a “4 star resort”.

The hotel location is very nice, with beautiful open views and a relaxing atmosphere. The landscape and sea view are enjoyable, and the food options are generally good and well presented. The setting itself has a lot of potential for a pleasant stay.

2. Staff and service – very poor experience Unfortunately, the service was extremely disappointing from the moment we arrived. Our shower was broken upon check-in. Ordering shisha was another issue, it arrived for 20 minutes and was then taken away quickly, even though it is not cheap, because the staff wanted to leave. Around 5:30 pm, the waterfall in one of the pools was turned off so staff could close the area, even though guests were still present. We arrived late after work, so naturally our pool time was also late. We had to contact many staff members to address these issues, and only after a lot of effort did Mr. Morad step in and extend our stay, offering shisha and coffee free of charge. I appreciate his help, but our first day was already ruined. Room service was also very poor. Ordering coffee for the room was unnecessarily complicated, and we were charged for coffee and a croissant even though I had already paid for breakfast. I missed breakfast because I was feeling sick, and at the very least, the coffee charge should not have been applied. 3. Cleanliness and overall experience Around our cabin, one of our sunbeds was taken during the night, and cargo was placed in a way that blocked our view. The area was not clean ( beer glass was thrown next to us) and this further affected our comfort. Overall, my entire experience was terrible compared to the amount I paid. This stay did not meet the standards expected from a hotel of this level, and I left feeling very disappointed.

Would never return or recommend

Not a beach hotel very misleading, this hotel is attached to the Jebel Ali boat port. Hotel has regular noisy business events that happen during the evening. My room was not cleaned completely on arrival

What was meant to be a peaceful getaway ended up being anything but relaxing.

There was an Indian event from the evening until late at night, and the noise was so loud that we couldn’t sleep or even relax in our room. It was impossible to hear the TV or have a conversation. The worst part is that no one informed us in advance that this event would be taking place — if we had known, we would never have booked it. Overall, it was a really disappointing experience. We came there to relax, but we left feeling more annoyed and stressed than before.

It was good but not a level of 5 star hotel.

The facilities of the pools and water park and entertainment things are very good.

1- For 5 stars hotel i didn't expect non shadow parking. 2-Very limited choices of restaurants to have lunch or dinner and even most of the resturants open only at 18:30 and fully booked, While the food delivery is not allowed. 3- The beach and sea is not clean as expected for 5 star hotel. 4- On top of all above we got bed bugs in our cabana room while the moved us to another room without taking care of anything regarding our clothes and our baby staff. 5- The terrance door of our caban ground floor room can't be locked. 6- there wasn't any toothpaste or toothpaste till we have asked for that.

Breakfast is good. But the queue are long.

The view in the balcony is an empty rooftop of the reception. There is nothing good to see. I was expecting a good and relaxing view of the beach since it was beach hotel. but no. My experience was like a 3 star. Checking in and checking out took an hour. In the hallway of the room you can hear children and it is very loud.

We had vacation all family with 3 kids. There are lot activities for kids, 3 swimming pools, kids were so happy. Also beach is very close to the hotel. Animation every evening also was not bad.

I was little bit shocked when I saw dirty and dark corridors which we passed to reach our rooms (we lived in Block C). I didn’t see it on any picture of hotel. Then I understood that almost all pictures are done from block D which is new and completely different. Also the same situation was with food. In our restaurant food every day the same, and block D with more variety and better quality of dishes.

Everything the worst experience ever from the moment we checked in we felt unwelcome while others were greeted we were given unhelpful attitude the worst part is after we left i spoke to them about the experience and they blamed us and said we requested food from the buffet they made this false accusation after the manager apologized so it didn’t feel like a sincere apology they were dismissive and didn’t even attempt to fix the problem it was a false and humiliating accusation we dont pay this hotel to be accused discriminated and mistreated dont go to this hotel

Wonderful

Every staff member we encountered was extremely friendly and could not be more helpful. The facilities are excellent for children, and the splash pad is fabulous. We also requested an early check in as we were arriving early. I thought it was unlikely, but it was available. As I was travelling alone with a 4 year old, this made our short trip so much easier and much more enjoyable. Thank you, we will definitely be back!

Very bad experience

The play area for kids …

I'd like to tell you my very bad experience with booking this hotel ja the resort ja the beach on 4/4/2025, it was very bad dealing by receptionists and it didn't seem to me my requests for reservation and confirming it to me that I had approved. When I got to the hotel, I was surprised that the 5-star hotel tells me if you wanted a room on the upper floors, you should wait 3 to 4 hours. And he forced me to take a room on the first floor -- the family for children and half personal objects after four hours, I got to my room and after a reception call about eight times. Pool cleaner is very bad, and I have pictures and videos that I have. At the time of exit on the second day, the receptionist called my phone at 12:00 p.m. and threatened me, if you don't come in about 15 minutes, I'm going to add a fee on you and tell her that I'm with my kids in the garden and told me that this is your problem, not our problem. And finally, I wouldn't advise anyone to book this hotel, and I'd tell all my followers on the media and by following me up on the latest appearances.

all in all it was a great stay! If you are looking at relaxing this is your place to go.

The pool was heavenly! The room was always fresh and clean. breakfast lunch and dinner was very good with tons of selections!

Sometimes the diner was closed and they relocated us to the hotel that was up the street or the sports bar that was a ways away. The resort is about 20 miles from downtown so the taxi fare can get pricy.

There are many activities for the kids and a lot of facilities that you can use and enjoy during the day the variety of restaurants and pools. The peacocks around the place look amazing.

The rooms are very small and even after the renovation you can still hear the noises, you can’t order food from outside. The rooms service food os not good at all.
