This is our third time we certainly will come back

Staff is very helpful and trustworthy We accidentally left our credit cards on the safe but the hotel management informed us and safely handed our cards thanks to Crowne Plaza Dubai festival city management and the staff

Not bad.. good location and views

The fireworks was unexpected little surprise. The beds were comfy. The fact that music and parties end early so we could sleep. The staff in reception especially the young lady who did the check in on 2nd Jan at around 6:45 pm (Filipino Lady) so nice with big smile. The Views from room 939 is amazing, The concierge staff are very helpful. The proximity to Mall although you would have to walk long distance which is not easy for elderly people. Breakfast was nice with good variety.

AC is not working properly we turned it off coz it was bringing unpleasant odor and the room felt stuffy all day. What made things worse the window doesn’t open which I think could be a safety issue for people who can’t stay in rooms with no open windows. You would feel uncomfortable if you stay more than 2 days. Cleaning is not the best. I found lots of hair in the carport and bathroom. Pillows had an odor. Bathroom is so difficult to use especially for people with hands or shoulder mobility issues or stiffness and elderly people. The water taps are broken/hard to open and do not function well. Exceptionally hard to operate!! The bathtub is very high and not easy to use. The way this bathroom is designed is really uncomfortable in many ways. Needs renovation.

For a few days of holidays or pass-through Dubai I would stay there again.

I was moved to the Intercontinental instead and I really like the location as it is more quiet around this area. The Festival City Mall attached to the hotel is a bonus.

The Intercontinental has large rooms which would need a bit of touch ups as the furniture looks a bit older. Everything works though and is very clean and well kept.

My stay at the Crowne Plaza was both comfortable and enjoyable. The hotel offers a relaxing atmosphere and excellent service, making the overall experience very pleasant. One of the highlights is its direct connection to Dubai Festival City Mall, which is beautiful, spacious, and full of diverse shopping and dining options. This combination made my stay even more convenient and memorable.

The good and bad

The excellent location next to the mall, the very friendly staff overal

The check in clerk at the reception, i booked a quiet non interconnecting room, non smoking and one big bed and hoped this is what we will have and returning guests for tge 9th time to the Hotel. The clerk gave us a very noisy room, with heavy ciggarette smoke smell. We demanded the room be changed and he said that i booked the cheap room and cant expect to get everything. We had to wait 2 hours for a room change, where we got a room with 2 single beds an intetconnecting door and plenty of noise. We did t bother to complain anymore for our 4 night stay as it was of no use.

Although I was provided with information about a shuttle service to the hotel from the airport upon arrival, we waited over an hour with no shuttle arriving and then ended up having to take a taxi, which ended up being rather costly at that time of night.
