Location is fine and wr can watch new year fireworks with ease

Not organized staff, you may miss your reservation with such confused staff. They ignored the extra bed of my kid (paid for it in Advance) until I made a confrontation with the manager, which is ridiculous for such 5 star hotel.

We had a wonderful experience at the InterContinental Dubai Festival City. From the moment we arrived, the staff was warm, welcoming, and professional, making the check-in process smooth and pleasant. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and offered stunning views that made our stay even more special. Breakfast was absolutely delicious with a wide variety of fresh and flavorful options. The hotel’s location is perfect , just steps away from the mall, making it incredibly convenient for shopping and dining. Everything from the service to the cleanliness to the breathtaking view exceeded our expectations. It was close to a perfect experience, and we can’t wait to return!

The dine in service is not hospitable and food is not as advertised it used to be good but now is utter disappointment, I ordered a burger which was less quality than what you get in an unrated joint, then I tried the dish of the month, which was not appetizing and should not be served in a 5 stars hotel, fix the kitchen.

Beautiful property and such an outstanding welcome. Room was impeccable and the view over the water is lovely. Breakfast was stunning and the staff are so well trained and courteous. Good selection was great and I felt really looked after. I will definitely be returning! Such a comfortable and happy experience.

I stayed at this hotel recently and not only was the service mediocre, but they also charged my credit card twice for the same booking. I contacted them immediately, expecting a quick resolution. Instead, I got vague excuses and empty promises. It’s been over a week, and they still haven’t refunded the duplicate charge. This is not just bad service—it’s borderline theft. No accountability, no urgency, and clearly no respect for their guests’ money. If you value your financial security and peace of mind, stay far away from this place. There are plenty of hotels that know how to treat their customers with honesty and professionalism. This one clearly doesn’t.

This is a "business grade" hotel, ideal for business users and attendees to nearby/on site trade events. Location. Direct connection to Festival City Shopping Mall (2mins walk from lobby) & proximity to DXB Airport (~10mins by car) Room. Spacious, separate Bathroom / Bath / Toilet. AC worked well. Issue with in room Safe (did not work) and a lack of power outlets in the bathroom. Sleep. Quiet rooms / corridors. Comfortable bed/mattress (extra pillows would have been a nice touch). Breakfast, Plentiful with a great array catering for different diets and cultures (special call out to the chefs). Value for Money. Very good given comments above and below. Other. Staff were professional. Pool area is nice with sunbeds and towels supplied. Jacuzzi. On site Eateries and Entertainment / Bar areas are very good (Bar on L26 has expansive views over the Downtown are and Burj Khalifa). Break away areas for business meetings. The overall stay was pleasant and met our expectations (we are 30+years experienced travellers).

Early Check In was a real hassle and unprofessional, initially demanding extra payment for the room (despite prior messages to the Hotel and after a long haul flight arriving DXB early morning). It was sorted ultimately after 1 hour by the management (Usman) which was appreciated and shall consider returning in future as a Hotel Guest.

I recently stayed at the InterContinental Festival City, Dubai, and overall it was a very pleasant experience. The hotel is beautiful, well-maintained, and in a fantastic location. A big bonus is that it connects directly to Festival City Mall, which makes shopping and dining very convenient. Inside the hotel itself, the perfume shop Asrar is a real highlight – not only are the fragrances excellent, but the owner is truly wonderful and makes the experience even more special. A separate thank you to him for his warm service. I would also like to give a special mention to Amir at reception. His professionalism and outstanding service really stood out. Honestly, he is probably the reason my overall review of the hotel turned out so positive – he went above and beyond to make my stay smooth and enjoyable.

The only downside was that the main pool was closed during my visit, which was disappointing.

The warmth and hospitality of staff from concierge, lounge reception, housekeeping, and anise restaurant staff were exemplary. The room were huge, the pool was not available at the time of check in but the overall facilities were great. Special thanks to Glayda whom showed brilliant service throughout our visit in the Anise Restaurant. Cleaning was immaculate, they visit 2x a day.

The staff visibility/accessibility in the club lounge needs improvement. They are immediately available initially upon seating, but thereafter they'll be no where in site.

am filing a complaint about the poor accommodation for me and my family, consisting of my wife and four young children, last night at the Intercontinental Festival City Dubai Hotel. I booked a suite consisting of two rooms and a living room for one night from Saturday to Sunday. When I arrived with my family from outside Dubai at the hotel at 2:15 PM, the receptionist informed me that my suite was not ready and that I had to wait A full hour until 3:30 pm until the suite is ready, even though the hotel regulations state that arrival is at 3:00 pm. I was informed by the receptionist that he must wait until 3:30 pm with my family until my suite is ready or he must take a smoking suite, even though I informed the employee that I am coming from outside Dubai on a long way with my young children and I cannot wait and the hotel should have given me the suite that I booked according to the arrival time specified by the hotel at 3:00 pm, but the employee, in a bad and indifferent manner, without any apology or concern, said that he cannot do anything for him, either you wait or you take the smoking suite. I told her that I could not wait and I was shocked by this thing and I will take the smoking wing and I cannot wait until 3:30 with my family and children, and I received the smoking wing after waiting at the reception with the employee for a quarter of an hour and when we went to the wing the smell of smoking was full of it, and my children could not sleep at night from the smell of smoking in the wing and even on the floor of the beds in the rooms , The mothers who were sick at night had a cough and were allergic to the bad smell of smoking in the room. My children and I did not sleep all night until morning because of the bad living conditions in this room.

It was during public vacation so it was busy time, long time to check in . During the breakfast time we waited for a while then we were escorted to our table which wasn’t cleaned properly even the ground floor wasn’t clean from previous hosts, They want to close the buffet on time which doesn’t make sense to me because it was crowded and they was queue waiting for there time to be seated. For me I think during busy time they were not organised. In addition for room service no one was picking the phone we called them several times for them to answer.

Every thing was excellent in this hospital except the view. Not my 1 st stay at ICH.

Unfortunately & unexpectedly ,I found the view from all windows in my 2-bedroom suite was obstructed by shade-like covers ?? which prevent us from enjoying the view at creek (as we used to do before in previous stays) & when I asked the front disc they told me its a management decision. ???
