Disappointing service and lack of professionalism

The room was spacious and clean, with a very nice view

After check-in, we were informed that our luggage had been scanned and that some personal items (a mini steamer, coffee maker, and electric cooker) were not allowed due to voltage limitations. We were told this is a policy from Jumeirah hotels’ management, which is untrue, as a nearby Jumeirah hotel allows these items in rooms. However, this policy is not mentioned on the hotel’s website or on Booking.com which is really confusing. We were forced to hand over our belongings to be returned at check-out, so I requested to speak with the duty manager, I was told I would receive a call, which never happened. Later, the hotel provided a steamer, but it was very poor quality and useless. At check-out, we were told our items would only be returned one hour before departure. This is unacceptable and extremely disrespectful to guests. Expecting us to wait until the last hour to pack is unreasonable specially that we were leaving early in the morning.

Hotel offered no compensation for the above after 3 night no sleep. Poor customer service.

Staff doing maintenance work and hammering & sawing outside the villa twice at 1-3am! Villa flooded inside with 2 inches of water everywhere when it rained. Villa manager useless.

The facilities are kind of tired Breakfast - good food, but too crowded and hectic atmosphere with hectic service Overall, when you pay over 1000 dollars per night you expect an exclusive luxury atmosphere. Instead you are in the middle of Babylon with what feels like a million people. Not worth it at all

One of my favorite hotels ever. From the moment you enter you know you are going to have a fab time. The service you receive is so amazing, from a workforce that are so humble but always want you to have the best experience . I commented about the beautiful flowers in the foyer to the receptionist. When I returned to my room that evening there was a bouquet waiting for me. Where else would you get that. Can’t wait to return.😊

The only thing I didn’t like was I only booked for 5 nights and then headed to the marina for another 5 I didn’t like the marina at all and we came to the conclusion that it’s not necessarily Dubai we love but actually Jumeirah. ❤️

The hotel and its facilities were fantastic, staff were very supportive and provided and excellent service.

The leisure pool which was supposed to be relaxing was full of kids, even though there was a separate children’s pool.

Breakfast was exceptional, I travelled with my two 7 year olds and they really enjoyed the breakfast. The room was excellent, quiet and spacious and modern. The location was fantastic as we could use the buggy to visit restaurants in other hotels or at the Souk Madinat.

Really good, wanted to come for ages but don’t think I would come again

Cold water in pool, beds were so comfy and breakfast delicious

My friend had a 500dhs voucher we had to use in one meal -almost impossible for 2 people so we had to get take away bottles of water to use up the money. Felt like a rip off and would be much better if we could have used the voucher by the pool for drinks.

Amazing hotel, slow lifts and reception

Excellent hotel,. Amazing location, food was fantastic and golf buggies take you along to the souk and other hotels which is ideal. Buffet in the hotel is fab as is the one in the souk. Queues at reception were always slow, didn't seem to move quickly and lifts always took a while.
