A good hotel, needs updating with air conditioning as weather and hence rooms were hot while stayed there.

Perfect location for exploring a Medieval Village!

The hotel is located in a historical district. Close to multiple bus routes, making it easy to explore the entire city. The room had large windows that opened to allow fresh air to circulate in the room and a small fan. Our room was comfortable with a water kettle and small fridge. Breakfast was simple, but filling. The staff was warm and friendly. Overall, this is a wonderful hotel if you want to be located in Old Town, away from the hustle of the city (the bus to the train station is a 6-minute ride). You step out of the hotel and are greeted by a lovely medieval village with water fountains, stone walkways, towering buildings, and beautiful building facades. I loved exploring the village!

1. Unable to use a laptop, scarce water in the bathroom, especially toilet 2. Although the breakfast buffet was quite fair, (a) e.g., empty water bottles not replenished, (b) one had to eat in a separate room from the buffet

The hotel is old, all the furniture are worn. There is no AC in the room, windows are old and the room was very noisy at night.

room facilities were limited. In hot weather no air-con only basic domestic fan. Tea and coffee were not replenished daily and the two day supply of milk were not replaced for an 8 day stay. Had to go and buy own tea and milk. Breakfast was very limited selection and so better to eat out. Not the 4 star rating I expected

Ancient Hotel with rooms that were renovated last in the 1950's Windows didn't work well and let in smoker's smoke from the interior courtyard.

On the booking.com website checking is stated untill 22:30 but in reality it is 21:00. The receptionist called and was so kind to wait. The room is clean and does its job. Bed comfy. Breakfast was too expensive for what was offered.

This is a hotel which I frequent regularly when in the area, it is situated in the heart of the city and offers good rooms for a decent price !

It is a pity that the rooms at the back = away from the (noisy) street, are situated at a patio, which acts like a chimney, so all the fumes (kitchen & outside smokers) enter the room when having the window open.....

The reception lady on arrival wasn't helpful when rang on tv programs issues. She was much better when I went down in person

only the bed it was comfortable.

product such as shampoo and shower gel etc. should put 2 for 2 people. when you pay 285 euro for the room at least we expect those. help the client to show there room. greet them when they come or go.

Romantic hotel in the heart of old Fribourg

Super location - excellent for the old city. Parking easy in the square (the hotel sells you a pass for 24 hrs - but you have to ask). Very friendly and helpful reception who printed out tickets I needed the next day. Breakfast was efficient and friendly server.

Pillows are German as are the duvets. But that’s how it is. A nice view of the inside ‘courtyard’ of the hotel (sarc)
