Nice hotel in walking distance to the train station. Friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were clean and comfortable.
The hotel is located just off the train station which is actually convenient and I felt safe during the day, but one night when I returned late, the area around the station felt a bit uneasy due to people lingering nearby. Inside the hotel, however, there was no problem at all.

The hotel was located very close to Mannheim central station, and also within easy walking distance of the city centre. Plenty of bus and tram stops nearby. Breakfast was good and the staff in this area were friendly and efficient.
Price of the breakfast wasn't included in the room price, and this wasn't made clear at check-in (possibly due to communication problems). There was no air conditioning in the room, only a fan, and the room became quite stuffy if the windows remained closed. Neither was there a fridge.

The cleanliness was good. The breakfast was value for money.
No hot water and we weren’t told about it when we checked in. When the water did come back on (over 24 hours later) it was brown. It was only when we complained we were offered any type of recompense.
There was no air conditioning in the hotel and we could only have a fan if we were prepared 20€ per room.
