The hotel is situated close to the train station, as well as the Marienplatz. We enjoyed breakfast at a local cafe, as well as at the hotel.

Reasonable location just outside the old town in 'hotel district'. Pleasant, good sized ( privilege) room at the back, away from the street, overlooking a not especially attractive inner courtyard ( empty bins and ? staff smoking area...) Dinner, bed and breakfast package booked in advance through booking.com was very good value (better than Accor website). Indifferent dinner was outweighed by excellent breakfast. Underground parking safe and convenient, run by different company at 27 euro for the night !

A bit more 'flexibility for dinner package ie. pay a supplement for better choice of dishes.

Clean, cosy atmosphere. 5 min walk to Hauptbahnhof. Good breakfast with a good selection of choices.

Reception staff wasn't very welcoming, no smiles, no "How may I help you". I had to initiate every conversation when approaching the desk. This I experienced with several members of the staff. In one of our rooms we where unfortunate to get the toiled clogged. I let frint desk know about it about it 13:00. When we left the hotel for an event 15:00 I reminded them that it still wasn't fixed. When we arrived at the hotel close to 9 hours later it still wasn't fixed. This was NOT a thing I wanted to deal with close to midnight. I went down to front desk and told him that it still wasn't fixed, as polite as one can be at that moment. The receptionist didn't make a face at all, seemed untouched and didn't even apologize for the inconvenience. If it had been me I would have been embarressed! Gave us another room, wouldn't have accepted less either. The hotel had almost 11 hours to fix the problem, I know it was a Sunday, but it shouldn't matter. This pissed me off, we liked the hotel. It's a shame they waste it on poor service. Like trying to buy a Coca-Cola from front desk when the bar is closed! You can't even buy a freakin' soda if you fancy one late at night. Maybe we got unlucky, don't know. But hard for me to recommend.
