Beds were well made and soft, clean rooms and fancy bathroom, bedroom door seems secure.. if the bloody thing locks.

The bathroom has glass’s for water I guess and they are dirty. The fridge is so small you can’t even put anything inside it. I entered 3 digits and opened the door instead of entering 6

Been visiting here for a long time now and it's always a good stay. Staff are exceptionally helpful and the bar is one of the best hostels bars anywhere with good value drinks and tasty pizzas for anyone who's feeling peckish. Watched 2 of the World Cup games while I was here and bar staff were very good, serving until the late game was over. Breakfast is also very good...

Not a criticism but there is no kitchen and the common area is the bar, basically. So, it's more like big city dorm accommodation. Also, the showers and toilets for some dorms are in the hallway and not en-suite. Btw, the surrounding area used to be a lot more lively at night but the never-ending development work at the Hauptbahnhof seems to have put an end to a lot of that but not the hostel's fault, obviously...

Location was great, between downtown and the train station. The staff was perfect, smilely and helpful. It was the cleanest hostel I have ever been.
