4 star facilities, 3 star staff, 2 star neighbourhood and 1 star customer service

We were assigned a room directly beneath the gym (room 537). Around 11pm, the noise from above became unbearable, so we contacted reception. The receptionist informed us that this particular room is known for noise issues from the gym, has been flagged to management multiple times, and regularly generates guest complaints. He even mentioned he did not understand why the hotel continues to sell the room. As a result, we had to repack our belongings late at night and move rooms at 11:30pm — an unnecessary disruption that could easily have been avoided. The receptionist indicated that a commercial gesture would be discussed. However, at check-out the next morning, nothing was proactively offered. Only after insisting several times were we offered free parking (€37), which felt disproportionate to the inconvenience caused. What is most frustrating is not the noise itself, but the fact that the hotel knowingly assigns guests to a problematic room while other rooms were clearly available (we were moved just three doors down the hallway). This suggests the property was not fully booked and the situation was entirely avoidable. Overall, while the room itself and the hotel facilities were good, the handling of this situation reflects poor operational judgment and guest care. The neighbourhood may not be the most charming, but that was not an issue for our business stay — the preventable room assignment and lack of proper resolution were

AN OVERALL AMAZING STAY

Absolutely loved our stay. The facilities were amazing, the pool the gym and also the staff, they were very polite and helpful. Another great thing is the location, in the city centre with a supermarket in a distance of 2 minutes on foot. We would definetely go back!

Nice hotel but the food is not good

Close to train station, beautiful hotel decor and rooms. Nice beds and bedding. You can buy drinks In the hotel to take to the room. The concierge team were good. The pool was nice.

The reception staff weren’t helpful, the restaurant hours open too late and the food is very average. No champagne option for breakfast and the food was average. No fresh orange juice

Wonderful hotel with great rooms.

Great location close to metro access. The room was spacious with a wonderful bathroom. The staff is friendly and always helpful. The gym has everything you need for a good workout.

The breakfast was very expensive compared to other hotels in Europe and the car parking is also expensive.

I liked the nice hot shower

It took almost an hour to get ice for my coke. Our room faces the street and it was extremely noisy with cars honking their horns all night.

Room was pleasant, good size.

Bathroom is small , I was confused with the lighting control. TV was not working , we change the batteries from the tv control just to find out tv not working after that. Almost before we leave we find out tv was not connected, hard to see . The area did not look safe ,we saw some adults just wandering .

they ruined my husband's birthday, never again

Dimensions of the room, reception, position, quality of food for the breakfast.

I must say I was really disappointed and upset by the weekend I spent with my husband at this hotel. It was his birthday, the only chance to spend some time together since we work far away at the moment. 1) I had booked by phone a massage at the supposedly prestigious Spa of the hotel. I spoke with a lady who made the reservation and confirmed by phone. Well, we leaned she booked the massage for the week after, by mistake. We discovered this on the day...Luckily there were still two slots available, but you can imagine the disappointment. 2) I had been comunicating with the hotel for days about delivering a small birthday cake at 9.00am on the day of my husband's birthday. All this was planned for days, I even checked with the reception till the night before. At 9.30am of the day still no sign of the cake, I had to go downstairs at the reception and ask in person, they apologized and sent it after 30 mins. So it arrived an hour late and the surprised was completely ruined. UNACCEPTABLE 3) communication with the maids was frustrating as nobody spoke english and even German was not really up to standards (I speak 5 languages and I believe I can judge on this aspect). This is supposedly a luxury hotel... disappointing custumers not once but twice with mistakes or negligence about booking services is really unadmissible. I don't care if the Spa is mangaed by another company, it's still offered to Westin costumers and should be up to the 5 star service (by the way, not water or tea or juices available at the Spa) and ruining my husband's birthday surprise was really uspetting and undeserved, since the hotel is certainly not cheap. At least at the reception they were nice and apologetic, but it's not enough. Never again.

Fantastic Stay.

Room was very nice and clean and the breakfast was delicious. The hotel's location was fantastic—walking distance from a large shopping center and the zoo and very close to public transport. We got lovely massages in the hotel spa as well.
