Ok ok, close to Metro but small room

Location, just cross the road to Rome station This is non touristy place, for a now authentic location Staff were friendly and helpful

Renovation was on, whole front of building was covered, no view out from window Room was small for 2 people. I stayed alone so could manage Bathroom has no ventilator or window Cupboard is tiny, not enough even for one.

A Hidden Gem in Paris with Impeccable Service

I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel. Although it is a small property, the service is truly impeccable. The staff were always willing to help and consistently accommodating, which made the experience feel warm and welcoming. The hotel was very well kept and exceptionally clean, with a pleasant scent throughout, especially noticeable in the lobby. Breakfast was available and the selection was more than sufficient for a hotel of this size, making for a convenient and enjoyable start to the day. The location is another highlight—it is quiet and peaceful, yet surrounded by nearby establishments and conveniently close to metro and bus stops, making it easy to get around Paris. Price-wise, this hotel offers excellent value for Paris, especially considering the quality of service and overall comfort provided.

The only minor drawback during the stay was some ongoing construction. However, the hotel was very transparent about this and clearly posted notices near the elevator to remind guests of potential disruptions. The construction typically took place from midday to late afternoon, so unless you planned to stay in the hotel throughout the day, it was not much of an issue at all. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again.

The staff was wonderful! The location was exceptional! Easy to access the metro or buses, safe to walk around, LOTS of restaurants, pastry shops, grocery stores in the neighborhood.

The air conditioning is only accessible seasonably. To cool off the room we had to open the doors on the faux balcony and the outside noise made it difficult to sleep. (We're from Texas and used to having AC on demand. Perhaps having a small, portable AC unit available would be helpful) The bathroom had an issue with black mold in several areas on the ceiling and bathroom tiles. Once we informed the management, it was scrubbed down, but we still didn't feel good about showering in it. (The hotel is undergoing renovation and the manager says all rooms should be completed in 2-3 months.)

A few days in Paris, 'the city of lights' :)

The proximity of the metro 'Rome' (10 minutes walk) to reach to attractions with a supermarket round the corner. The staff were all very friendly, kind and helpful. Room was good with plenty of hot water. Would definitely stay here again if we visit Paris again. Had a wonderful few days in Paris, the city of 'light'.

A pleasant short stay at the Hotel Berne Opera, 2nd arrondissement in Paris.

The location was good, and the staff, especially Louisa were exceptionally friendly and helpful. There was plenty of hot water and the beds were comfortable. Plenty of restaurants and cafés nearby, a grocery shop within 5-10 minutes away from the hotel and most of all a metro station called 'ROME' a walking distance of about 10-15 minutes so that you can reach most attractions. I met the Manger for a really brief minute who greeted me with a smile and made me feel welcome. All in all we had an enjoyable and memorable short stay. Merci beaucoup. Nous sommes retouner avec (our) fille, et grand fille dans deux semaine (time) See you soon :) x

A room with a small balcony and a bed rather than a sofa bed would have made our short stay perfect.

Loved the location and size of the room . It was clean too.

Perfect for our city break.

The location was perfect for sightseeing. Transport easy to use and not far from most attractions: breakfast was good, good variety.

Staff was extremely nice and friendly ! Location was right next to a metro but still no hustle and bustle of city. Quiet peaceful and beautiful area ! Loved it! The AC was working perfectly especially for the hot summers! They let us keep our bags in storage before and after checkout ! Overall will def come again!

The toilet needs renovation! And the room did not have a nice view. But considering other French hotels this was way better!

Very centrally located hotel and a quiet street.

The location was excellent - it was a 2 minute walk to the Rome Metro. The hotel was close to bistros, cafes and restaurants. There was a small supermarket close by and a very good fruit shop. On Saturdays, there's a fabulous food market across the main road. There was coffee and tea making facilities and a small fridge. Windows could be opened to let in fresh air. A/C was available and free WiFi. We were in the 6th floor but a lift was available.

The bathroom was small - a step in bath tub for the shower. We didn't have breakfast in the hotel, which was available, because there were quite a few very good patisseries close by.

Best hótel for explorers

Subway station was literally a short block away. The location was absolutely incredible for traveling. The hotel itself was great. We spent most of our time awake out in the city but the room was incredible to have to recoup from a day of exploring. The staff were some of the most polite I've encountered and we're eager to help. Be it recommendations for food (I overhead them list off 3-4 cafes for a couple that had checked in before us), places to go and even a bookstore. Will definitely be booking here again for my next trip to Paris.

Honestly, the only thing I didn't like was I couldn't have spent longer staying at the Hotel Berne Opera and by extension, the city as a whole.

Great hotel! Great Staff! Great breakfast!

Great room, very spacious on the first floor. Clean facilities, excellent breakfast and the staff was very friendly and went out of the way to help us find our way around and guide us. The breakfast is in a very charming room with a great rustic vibe. There is a game room for kids that our son loved.

Little gem in the heart of Paris

Location is perfect, right opposite Rome metro station. 5 mins walk from Place de Clichy. 15 minutes walk from shopping centres and Opera. The rooms were so clean. Beds were comfortable and staff were very helpful and friendly.

The shower head needs to be replaced but the water pressure was very good and the water was hot.

Lovely welcome and great stay

Brilliant location, lovely friendly staff. A warm welcome is given at the reception and Solange in the breakfast room was really helpful. Really nice decor in the reception and breakfast rooms. The hotel breakfast was really good and being able to leave our luggage after checkout til our evening flight was great.

We arrived late night. The receptionist I didn’t get the name (gay) was not really approachable and helpful. but good thing there was another one (girl) she was on duty morning she’s very pleasant and help us until we check out.
