Location, friendly staff and excellent food!
There is music in the spa and the hallways so one cannot enjoy quiet time or read in the many beautiful spots because it is filled with music/noise. It is a spa so be should be able to relax and I could not totally !

It’s very relaxing and has a great view. There is two pools and a spa and the breakfast was good. The staff is extremely helpful and nice.
Due to its location either you do all your meals in the hotel or you’ll have to drive for 20 minutos at least to get a restaurant.

The view is amazing. Nice stay, if you have a car or prefer to take a train (you need a car to get yourself to the train station) for a day-trip to Pinhao for example. The restaurant has good quality food.
The pool bar was closed, even though it was supposed to be open - no possibility to order drinks at the bar. They spilled drinks at the dinner to our lap without refund. They also blamed us for not adding credit card details for room service, even though we did it when we checked in. Service is not what you would expect in such a place. Overall, as a customer we got the feeling of being there for the hotel, not that the hotel is there for us.
