Not a great area if walking late and interior quite tired. Room had a very strong smell of damp.

For the price the Ibis City room was great.

Staff very helpful. Room was clean and very quiet even though near a main road and the tram line.

The availability of food was a little disappointing. There didn't seem to be a chef on duty so only snacks, which were very basic but still quite pricey, available when we asked about a meal before we went out to an event.

How to prove that Sheffield can give you a great weekend without breaking the bank.

Super efficient and helpful staff, clean bright rooms and a feeling of security. Although the rooms were small the layout was well designed and being clearly marketed a budget accommodation we we not disappointed.

The buffet breakfast was not very appealing, and appeared to have been standing too long. We didn't eat there but readily found options nearby.

Very conveniently situated for Ponds Forge and met all my expectations. The room was warm, comfortable and clean.

Felt the bathroom was a little utility for the price I paid. Ibis has become as expensive as other other hotels whereas they used to be in the budget range.

Convenient, comfortable & friendly.

The room was quite small which is the only reason I rated a 9 and not a 10 ... The staff were welcoming, I slept well and the breakfast was excellent... I came for the Howard Jones concert at the City Hall & if I come to Sheffield again I would definitely book into the Ibis.

It was closer in experience to staying in a hostel in a private room than it was to a hotel

It was a place to sleep, the breakfast was nice enough.

The room was quite loud due to the proximity to the main road, I could hear everything that happened in the hallway, the bed, and pillows were quite uncomfortable, there was an AC unit, but it wasn't capable of cooling. There were limited toiletries / extras in the room.

Ibis Sheffield City

The hotel was very clean with a lovely breakfast selection in the morning. We were able to check into our room earlier than the 3pm stated online and also used the luggage storage facility after check out the next day. The staff were friendly and helpful at reception.

ibis Central Sheffield - once I found it, it was EXCELLENT: GOOD VALUE, GREAT STAFF & GREATBREAKFAST

EVERYTHING except the two items appearing in the next box. The STAFF were a bonus but I loved everything about my short stay and have already recommended it to a group of friends who stayed across at the Travelodge (almost adjacent to this 'ibis' hotel).

Google maps let me down badly [I have registered this complaint to Google maps] who sent me on a very round-about route from Sheffield Railway Station to the 'ibis' Central in Sheffield City Centre ... it took me 50 minutes, instead of 10 minutes to find it. Also, on the same problem, apparently, I had passed the hotel TWICE without noticing it = without finding it! So, I went to tell my friends at the Travelodge that I was 'there' but should have been at the 'ibis' but could not find it. In the reception area of the Travelodge, one friend said, 'There it is' and pointed through the window to the tiny RED 'ibis' sign above the entrance but not illuminated, across the road from the Travelodge.

There wasn't a jacuzzi in my room. Also there were no cooking facilities, nor a refrigerator.. Twas a twin room, teh beds were a bit uncomfortable and the pillows were like bricks. Other than that all was good 👍
