I really liked the staff member, I can’t remember his name but he was working behind the bar and reception on the Saturday night. We had a laugh with him and deserves recognition!
The location is a bit rough around the edges, luckily it was fantastic for the tram stop but I wouldn’t want to be walking back to it late night alone

The distance from the train station, bus interchange and tram stops so you can get to most places fairly easily. The breakfast had a lot of options and the staff were accommodating for our dietary requirements. The room was adequate and had all we needed. We were only using it for a base, so it was ideal.
The bed was narrow, which wasn't too bad however the pillows were like sleeping on rocks and the mattress wasn't too comfortable. The drain in the shower was blocked and flooded the floor on our first night. I pulled out a wad of hair as big as a rat. The evening meal options were limited and we felt they were a little pricey for what they were.
