Very mediocre, stayed in better hostels !

Small room with totally grey decor, very depressing. Double bed only had 2 pillows & extra bed for child 1 pillow. Too uncomfortable to sleep in so had to share my bed. No where to put makeup etc or clothes.

Not clean at all, rubbish attitude from staff

Good location great parking

Was with a group of 4. One of the rooms had stains on carpet and a strange stain in the shower. Then moved to another room.. same issue! Then bed sheets had stains on them. When asked to get new sheets put on, the manager said there is nobody in to change them if you want you can change them.. no thanks just put me in another room. What a joke

The room was nice and the shower was excellent. Left me tingling afterwards. Housekeeping staff were friendly and helpful and the room was clean. The location was excellent and quiet with little passing traffic.

Great location, welcoming staff on arrival. Managed to check in early, which was great. Hotel offers 50% off nearby parking, great! Good and spacious shower. Breakfast was good.

For the price the Ibis City room was great.

Staff very helpful. Room was clean and very quiet even though near a main road and the tram line.

The availability of food was a little disappointing. There didn't seem to be a chef on duty so only snacks, which were very basic but still quite pricey, available when we asked about a meal before we went out to an event.

How to prove that Sheffield can give you a great weekend without breaking the bank.

Super efficient and helpful staff, clean bright rooms and a feeling of security. Although the rooms were small the layout was well designed and being clearly marketed a budget accommodation we we not disappointed.

The buffet breakfast was not very appealing, and appeared to have been standing too long. We didn't eat there but readily found options nearby.

Very conveniently situated for Ponds Forge and met all my expectations. The room was warm, comfortable and clean.

Felt the bathroom was a little utility for the price I paid. Ibis has become as expensive as other other hotels whereas they used to be in the budget range.

A bit boring- but hey it’s a corporate and reasonably priced accommodation for a night. Air con hissed but not more than any others

The room was quite small which is the only reason I rated a 9 and not a 10 ... The staff were welcoming, I slept well and the breakfast was excellent... I came for the Howard Jones concert at the City Hall & if I come to Sheffield again I would definitely book into the Ibis.
