Breakfast was superb, so much choice and all very fresh, great to have your omelette and your pancakes made on spot.
Hotel pool beautiful and when we were there in June, whilst around the pool was busy, the actual pool wasn't busy so loads of room for a decent swim. Staff so friendly and attentive and always smiling. Location great with easy access to a fantastic boardwalk for an early morning walk.
Earlier check in would have been great. Arrived on a very early flight and our room wasn't ready until after 4pm

For a 5 Stars Hotel the food wasn't matching that level. When we book 5 Stars Resorts we expect to have much better food quality.

Friendly staff.
Comfortable pillows and bed.
Pool area with people adding towels to loungers.
Room was tired.
Not value for money (typical of most alvor hotels on the front now, having been going for many years!).
