Very comfortable and presentable hotel at a reasonable price. Room was well stocked. Bathroom and shower were excellent

OK for short stay, wouldn't stay longer than 1 night?..

Perfect location for what we needed. Room was clean

The shower cubicle could do with a light as was dark when we used it. The television was very slow at starting up and we had to turn off and start again to get a program to play. I thought the mattress had a bit of a rolĺ together as woke up with back ache a few times in the night....

Not bad. Would consider staying again

Client was a bit late getting to the hotel. the manager called to inquire as to when the client would arrive. The manager made themselves available for the client and even offered to upgrade the room. The client had a good night's sleep and a hot breakfast in the morning.

The reception area closes early unlike most mainstream hotels.

A lovely hotel in a good location. A lovely comfortable room with all the extras, tea coffee etc.. Traditional breakfast was very good and very filling. Staff pleasant and helpful.

decent place to stay for Whole Hog Races

I was pleased with how quiet it was despite being near the A12 bypass, drinks making facilities were plentiful there was even some Earl Gray tea, room was nice and warm as much needed central heating came on with Storm Amy blowing hard outside

the shared bathroom was a bit chilly to have a shower because the windows and door were open to another room allowing the gales to blow through the corridor outside my room

I was clearly told at breakfast, that they did not cater for vegetarians, despite the fact I had emailed to advise vegetarian breakfast requested. Also the bar wad not open as stated on their website. Beds and bathroom very clean.Our room was small but adequate.

The proprietor was only pleasant to me when I went to reception to pay. Okay

A nice place for a short stay.

Very comfortable room, nice bathroom, very clean. Well stocked tea making facilities. Quiet, no noise from other guests. Lovely garden with attractively decorated gazebo for guests to relax.

The bar & restaurant were closed, so I had to go out for food in the evening. As the hotel is quite a distance from the town, this wouldn't be great for longer staying guests with no transport. The vegetarian breakfast was was the same price as the standard full english, but with no substitute for the bacon & sausage. Perhaps provide a couple of veggie sausages. The orange juice tasted like orange squash.

Woodbridge is an interesting place to visit and I would recomend this accommodation.

The accommodation very clean. Nice tea / coffee facility. We had a very tasty and filling breakfast. Ample and easy parking.

Yes, we would definitely return to stay -a perfect location with welcoming hosts.

Our bedroom was clean, a comfortable bed, with towels and complimentary toiletries. Accessible wi fi, quiet atmosphere during the night. A good service in the dining room for breakfast, and tea brought in a tea pot! A kind welcoming host.

A cooked breakfast was on offer each morning, but maybe for those who wouldn't choose a cooked breakfast, there ought to have been more on offer - like a fresh fruit salad to compliment the yogurts, some granola and a larger selection of croissants.

Last minute booking, was bearable for one night… just!

Owner pleasant, understanding when we had issues with booking via website. Onsite parking handy and location was good as although on a main road, it was only a few minutes by car to centre of Woodbridge and amenities. Overall room and bedding clean although extremely dated.

Definitely not a double room, a single at most! 2nd person had to be on bed before 1st could move around room. Far too hot and claustrophobic. Had to have velux windows open constantly meaning road noise an issue. Bathroom no more than a literal converted cupboard. Shower ok, good pressure but door restricted in opening fully as hand sink immediately behind it. Sink/toilet well past use by date, taps full of limescale and barely big enough to get hands in to wash them. Towels need renewing, clean but old and worn, had holes in one of them.

We were greeted by Paul (the owner) on arrival. He was very helpful & explained all the transport links into Ipswich as we're going to a concert. The hotel was very clean & you had everything you needed in the room. Breakfast was delicious & overall a very nice stay. Would recommend this hotel!!

Comfortable quiet even though it is on a main road.Friendly welcoming and very helpful.Just tenish minutes amble from the hotel to the river ,depending on if you stop in one of the beautiful pubs on the way down. Really nice place just on the edge of a Beautiful town.
