Clean, everything seemed new, very nice staff, great restaurant, free parking, comfortable mattress, clean and shiny bathroom.

The pillows were too flat. Otherwise all good.

The width of the single bed was a tad small, being I'm over 6ft and have broad shoulders it felt like sleeping on a knife edge, but comfortable, clean and fresh bedding,

Everything..10/10..staff and chef 🧑‍🍳 made me lunch and dinner which wasn’t on the menu..as I on carnivore diet..thanks guys..best hotel in FiFE by far.👏👏👏..also my granddaughters favourite hotel as well..

The staff were very welcoming and approachable. Noticed a dent in a wall of the room when we got into the room and they were happy to see what we were talking about and confirm that they knew we weren't the reason it was there. Very kind and were interested in our plans we had during our stay. The bar is excellent - highly recommend the spice orange boe gin. Beautiful grounds, perfect opportunities for nice photos for events - we were there for a wedding.

Would have preferred a liquid hand soap over the bars of soap however it didn't take away from the overall experience with the hotel.

Free wifi, good location, close to Fife retail park with Sainsburys, fridge in your room and you can phone down for fresh milk for your tea and coffee, room 16 was good, compact but comfortable, liked the toiletries (even provided you with cotton buds and cotton to remove make-up etc and shower cap, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, bar of soap and body lotion.

Maybe a bit more choice on the room service menu

Nice hotel, poor service and lots of areas. Breakfast was a shambles at £14 per person.

After a 10 1/2 hour drive from Southampton to Scotland I was asked at the checking in to leave a deposit with a credit card which I did not have. I said I’ve booked it on my phone and was not told that I’d need a card to possibly leave a deposit in case any damage This took 40 minutes to sort out at one stage. The young lady said that I couldn’t stay there without a card I said I paid for it through Booking.com on my phone. I don’t carry cards like many people now she said it’s still not good enough unless you’ve got a card. You cannot stay here Terrible service. Got the manager out who was about 17 and still argued the point, but finally let us stay there.

Beautiful building inside and out. Very luxe on the inside, and easily accessible, although the sat nav does not take you to the hotel

Nothing per se. The Lounge was a little to lively with lots of laughter and loud guest as there was a wedding the next day, but that wasn’t the hotels fault
