Nice small hotel, in good condition. Bedroom a good size and beds comfortable.
On the down side the room was at the front of the building and we had 3 spotlights directed towards our window, throughout the night and early hours. While the room had blinds, the light slipped round the side leaving the room partially illuminated. Receptionist suggested it was a security issue. Also, while I may be a stuffy southerner, I felt being addressed by the proprietor as "bud" to be not entirely respectful or in keeping with the correct attitude to an older paying customer. It seems a shame to invest a lot of money to create a good impression only to undermine this investment by showing less than the fullest respect to the customer

When we arrived the staff were very welcoming shella assisted us at the front desk got us the key to our room. We settled in then went down for dinner. The steak pie was absolutely delicious had some drinks we sat in the bar for a while. The bed is so comfy absolutely spotless the room breakfast is absolutely lovely all the staff are so welcoming and friendly we stayed for two nights. What made it special was shella she went above and beyond with the wee extra special thing like having very small scissors to open the condiments sauces as my partner finds them hard to open and asked me to open it. Just the smallest things like that goes a long way shella is a diamond to your hotel very funny witty. We just loved our stay ❤️ thank you to all the staff we will be back again.

We stayed for 2 nights , It is a lovely Hotel . Spotlessly Clean , staff were really lovely and helpful, rooms had every thing we needed , plenty of sockets for phone ect
Bathrooms are beautiful only downside rooms were a little small and really warm . Windows did open a little but still warm . Would definitely stay here again
